The single press option is in the car! Never had opening by accident and since I disabled the single press for closing all doors it never happened again.

But it doesn’t say that you can get the AP3 upgrade without the infotainment upgrade though... It only says for AP2.0 and 2.5 available starting in May

For now they DON’T upgrade to AP3 without replacing the MCU1 with a new MCU2 which you have to pay for. And the service center doesn’t know when and IF it will be available in the future to just replace the AP computer. I got the infotainment upgrade finished today... And it’s totally worth...

You might want to complain to Mercedes Benz. Since it’s the German car manufacturer’s stalk and it works the same way there, too! Tesla uses the steering wheel, gear selector and blinker stalk from Mercedes as well... Speaking for me I love to be able to just use cruise control and autopilot...

Actually it was explained that this is an air suspension feature. It can be lowered in the back while raised in the front. For easy loading using the ramp. After loading is complete you can have the air suspension leveled again!

I would argue why the MCU is failing. Because Tesla is using the eMMC to log tons of data for THEIR use! It is nothing the owner NEEDS. In my opinion if Tesla is using OUR equipment extensively for THEIR use (to collect data) it shouldn’t be our responsibility to pay for it because it fails...

GPS frozen? I had it a few times and a power off for about 5 minutes helped each time! Menu “safety & security” and then power off. Don’t touch anything and don’t open the door! After a few minutes power it up again by pressing the break pedal or open the door... Hopefully that solves the issues...

I reported the issue several times to Tesla. It usually updates every 5-8 minutes but at this specific location (celebration Supercharger) the use/availability shown on the Tesla’s map is totally off! Sometimes it shows 3 out of 8 available with not a single car charging...

Did they ONLY replace the AC compressor (beside your 12V battery)? I had almost the entire system replaced because it “comes as a set”. Which cost me a little over $ 3,500 even though ONlY the AC compressor was defect. How much was the replacement of the compressor?

I have a similar issue with my MX 100D! I’m struggling for over 9 month now to get my issues resolved! Without any progress... We had our Model X shut down with 12 miles of range left (less than a mile away from the Supercharger), had to pay for the tow truck and it wouldn’t charge past 94%...

It happened a few times to our Model X. It helped each time to power the car off, wait at least 3 minutes (don’t leave the car or touch any buttons or the screen) and then power it on again.

If you have the owner on the phone he could even “start” the car for you and you could drive it. But yes, you could put it in tow mode also.
