YES! I just took a potential buyer for a test ride in my P85D listed here and it's extremely depressing parting ways. I still stare at it in the garage...On the bright side I am elated the potential next owner will give it the level of care as we do!
EDIT: "here" as in different thread.
Thank you! Yes it is. The link has more pictures, description of the vehicle, and the monroney sticker. I'll update my original post to include features of the car so it's easier to read while in this thread.

Paint Protection: XPEL Ultimate PLUS (no-orange peel)

I agree on that there. It does have some dents from road debris. In my case, though, is it fair for them to ding me on that knowing this was documented when the windshield was brand new without damage?
Another one
It does not matter what Tesla adopter you are, early..late...sig edition. We have 4 Tesla's on my account alone and a 2nd model 3 reservation ready to configure. It does not matter to them. I am always patient and kind to them, very understanding. They have done the right things...
They offered me the same thing. This is after the windshield was shown to be out of spec at a portion I use to monitor oncoming traffic and LED road signs which is the original noted issue. I will be getting back to them regarding their failure to evaluate this appropriately. The biggest issue...
Thank you for those part numbers, I will use it for reference.
Did they use their 'special tool' to measure to see if your old one was within spec? I tried, 8 months apart, two service centers in Houston and they both ran the test and mine was within spec, therefore, denying replacement. Tried...
The article only mentions 75D... which 60D's really are in terms of hardware...
My 60D was delivered around Sept-Oct 2016. It's going into the shop this Friday, I'll update here on its eligibility.
I do not have PUP, also have standard audio. There are multiple strips each with its own harness. One strip goes separately to the door module above the speaker and the rest are wired in parallel..This way one strip only lights up when the door is opened or maybe when the car is parked...
Mine is the exact same situation as the video above. Service center here says let the rain x wear off since water sheets off too fast... But there is no rain x applied... So they didn't want to fix anything. Also they checked my 18000 VIN and said seals are the most up to date...
Yes. There were a lot of state police in Louisiana at that time. Detected well in advance as usual for highway driving, same experience in my Civic and 350Z as well. Bottom line, even if it degrades performance at all it wasn't enough to warrant paying four times the amount for a comparable...
Agreed. I can confirm no performance degradation in a model X for my Redline with Ka sweep 2, 5, and 8 on compared to when using it in my 350z. Using it right now during my New Orleans road trip and has alerted well in advance.
Yes that is part of the hood. The second image is the top portion of the passenger side fender that meets the A pillar and hood. I'm working with the shop to get these issues fixed and will update this thread appropriately. Thank you all again for the valuable input.
Here are the pictures as promised.
Joel, I truly would appreciate that. It is something I am trying to determine and would love to get feedback from those who have similar conditions if film or those who install it and find this acceptable. These are honest people and in no way do I feel that...
This is the 30mm fabric dome tweeter from the factory standard audio system. I didn't measure the angle they're seated at in relation to the pillar panel but you can get an excellent idea of what it's like. It is set deeper in the panel and so the dispersion will be narrow.
This is...
I don't have any pictures with the seats and trim but this is the matte finish trim with white upholstery.
EDIT: My apologies I only read the title. Just realized your post requested obeche wood.
Thanks for the quick reply y'all! I figured, I paid what others with suntek have quoted but this place has good reviews across the board. I'll hold them to much higher standards and worst case scenario I expected flawless application and if they cannot deliver that they should at least...
To add to this, they encouraged me to examine other vehicles with wrap and I will agree with their claims. Anyone have pictures of their hod installations with imperfections/flawlessness? Thanks in advance y'all
It's been a month since the full front installation of the Suntek film. The install left some yellow debris (think yellow cake crumb-like material_ underneath the film on the hood that's big enough to even keep air around it. I'll post pictures later. The rest of the hood seems fine, devoid...
For those that have the carbon fiber trim, does this adhesive alter the matte finish at all? Other trims are finished in gloss so I know that's unaffected or easily cleaned. Even the other matte finish isn't the same matte as the carbon fiber..
They can, but from what I've seen so far they just shrug their shoulders and tell you they don't sell it. There has to be someone who bought an oem channel, and on that invoice should be a part #...maybe they'll chime in.
Welcome | Tesla Service
If we could all pitch in and somehow extract it all onto PDF within 24hrs for $100...or someone who can retrieve that part number from a Tesla-approved Body Shop can easily get this part number...
Or whoever has removed the conduit can read the number onto here. I...
I accompanied two other deliveries and was excited to receive the items when it was my turn to take delivery. They kept silent during my delivery until I told them the above... they admitted they usually would but ran out. They'll contact me as stock arrives..hmph!
I bought 3 different kinds from Amazon with the slim metal attachment of the phone. Haven't installed it at all because after looking for a surface to adhere the base to (uses 3M adhesive backing sticker) I realized I'm afraid of altering the carbon fiber trim finish or even the...
Time to get more sad, people! 184xx, happened later in the same day as delivery, October 8th. Wing won't even close because the trim gets in the way it's that bad... will update once I get it to service center here in Houston.
I wouldn't be surprised of it wrinkling so early, it is leather afterall. Depending on a lot of factors before delivery, the condition of the leather may benefit from an initial moisturization/conditioning to help prevent this over time.
This is the video for a Model S door panel removal. It at least gets you familiar with where to look at when removing your Model X door panels. Good luck, take pictures! I will when I get to my panel.
