App can't wake up Model 3

Definitely young at heart (and body too:-). I walked across Australia in 2007 (South to North www.jeffswalk.com) and again in 2011 (East to West). I drove the LEAF around Oz in 2016 (LE(Oz)AF | Australian Leaf Owners). All that after I "retired" (turned 65). I am still actively programming...

App can't wake up Model 3

I have had a LEAF for over 4 years and still volunteer a little too early to run (drive) errands that others shun:-). They (old school petrol heads) do not understand our pleasure from the driving experience. They think it is all about refilling sites and times. Ah well, that (mainly...

App can't wake up Model 3

Thanks for your input JJ. They quote delivery to me between 15th and 19th June so I'll just hold the horses for a bit and try to think of something else for a change:-).

App can't wake up Model 3

Also thanks JJ. I will refrain from further attempts at contact:-). I did notice that the main battery was at 64% so I considered that not to be the issue..

App can't wake up Model 3

Sorry. Total newbie here. I haven't even seen mine yet. My son went through the purchase on my behalf as I am too old for a hire purchase. He lives 5000klms away so I am having the 3 transported. When I lost contact I though it might be on the way here and out of cell range. But the transport...

App can't wake up Model 3

The month old Model 3 has been sitting in the car transporter yard for 10 days. The app woke up the 3 each time for 3 or 4 days but now does not communicate.. I have contacted the transporter company and the T3 is still in their yard. Does the T3 go into deep sleep or something after a few days?

Murray Bridge Men's Shed would make you welcome if you are still there. I used single phase but they may have 3 phase or contacts in the council. I have phone number somewhere. CHAdeMO at Mitsubishi Adelaide.

    Anticlockwise Adventure!

Ahhh. The wonder of the Nullarbor. Every Australian (and new Australian) should have to do it as part of a citizenship ritual.

Richard wrote "Will be great to catch up Jeff. Might be a while though. @Blue heaven has just given me a list of his top 75 photo opportunities in Broome!" Check out 'Chintown Music' in Broome which I started back in the early '80s.

    Anticlockwise Adventure!

My LEAF (and all others in Oz at this time) have a built in charger with a maximum rating of 3.3kW (15A). To use it to its full capability requires a 15A EVSE which is available from "roadside" L2 (J1772) chargers like ChargePoint, etc. The EVSE that comes with the car is restricted to 10A which...

    Anticlockwise Adventure!

Great adventure Richard. You will probably beat me to do a circuit. In my LEAF I can only get in 200kms a day. And I am "resting" (unscheduled) in WA now since June and will get on my way again (clockwise) in September. We will definitely catch up somewhere along the way (or here in Perth). See...
