Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

I've just been trading too long to get overly optimistic or hopeful with regards to any stock. If you read my posts on this forum I'm basically stating the obvious:Tesla's communication sucks and needs to improve NOW. I love the company, they make unbelievable products and if they succeed we all...

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

So true...and many buyers are loser baby boomers(like me;)) who still watch TV. I'm trying to get my neighbor to buy one...first thing she says is "but they don't even advertise". Like it or not it is what it is. Don't know if we can wait for the 15 year olds to turn 35 before they by their...

If would be odd for a short seller to want positive changes for the company they are shorting.

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

You and tons of other teens thought is was funny/clever which is totally fine...if he wasn't the CEO and face of Tesla. Look, I'm not offended by this stuff...I sort of liked the stupid ape rap video BUT what's the public perception? What are institutional investors thinking? What if he really...

cause it was so juvenile? Of course if you're a teenager you're being totally age appropriate and I digress.

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

The mantra of the stock market "woulda, coulda, shoulda". Don't worry, if we survive this year it could be a ten banger.

Didn't know our current president frequented the TMC investors forum.

We are so beyond oversold it's super likely we'll bounce tomorrow but will it hold is the question...

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

Good question and I have a too long answer. Having been a TSLA investor for awhile(first big buy was bottom of FUD dip Feb, 2016 which was awesome!) and continually picking up additional shares to date. Anyhow, with the new SEC settlement/plan being a huge win for Elon the stock should most...

Brace yourselves...this is gonna be a bumpy ride: "Am considering taking Tesla private at $420. Funding secured."
  12. A

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

Yes. My data shows advertising can be effective. I mean Jesus are we really questioning the effectiveness of advertising?
  13. A

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

I positively guarantee a minimum 10%(I think more like 20% depending who they chose of course) rally if that were to happen. But we would probably need to be below 100 for that to happen so you're probably right.
  14. A

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

As long s the status quo isn't a US govt. agency and you're not risking 40k employees, billions of dollars invested by share holders etc.
  15. A

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

It's great to have confidence but what if Elon/Tesla doesn't change at all? Are we in for another 40 percent decline because of some errant tweet(I know folks are getting tired of hearing this but it happened and can happen again)? This is what institutions are wondering and especially now with...
  16. A

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

Well the chart demonstrates big volume on those distribution days(bars on bottom are volume). Big volume on down days and small volume on up days typically indicates institutional selling.

    Key fob

It was super helpful with my S esp. being able to 'summon' with it. Don't think that's true for the 3 key fob tho.

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

You can always just say off the 'Investment forum" which tends to have the most controversy(which is kind of why we're here)
  19. A

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

Dude...I've been in the stock market forever and believe me when I tell you its a tricksy ****ing beast and absolutely anything is possible. If you don't have a complete understanding that you can lose 100% of your investment you shouldn't be here. I'm hugely bullish on Tesla. I've owned...
  20. A

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

Which is why I think: 1. Close Elon's Twitter account(I swear to you the stock would rally crazy on this alone and the world would be better for it) 2. Hire top level executive PR person where all company communications are generated 3. Hire new CEO who handles day to day...let Elon be chief...

    Well...this chart is pretty telling
  22. A

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

Hey I'm long big time and scaling at these levels(not recommending this) but if Elon/Tesla can't get a grip on the message soon, I don't know.
  23. A

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

No way..read my posts...I'm attacking his methods of communication.
  24. A

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

We can all hate the SEC. We can all hate ICE. We can all hate the FBI. We can all hate the IRS. BUT if I'm audited by the IRS(who I hate because of the unjust way they target low income earners...true) I do a media blitz criticizing the IRS and how I don't respect them and continually taunt...
  25. A

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

That could happen BUT the primary issue is communication and institutional investors aren't going to commit huge sums of cash when earnings calls are fictitious and the CEO acts batshit crazy on social media. They're not bailing now because they don't like the product or don't see Tesla's long...
  26. A

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

You had me until the fart app which I do find glorious. For real tho, Elon's personal stock decline since the 420 tweet is in the 450 million(the rest of us like 100 billion or so) range. Maybe that could of been spent on advertising/PR instead of pissing off the SEC? But then again want to keep...

And just like a lot of celebrities(who, I might add, don't control enormous public companies), he could take a major fall see: Endless Celebrity Scandals which ruined careers, contracts, brands etc. etc.
  28. A

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

$379.49...and I bought a little here, y'know cause the CEO said it was going private at $420...easy $40 right:confused::mad:? Oh, did I mention his Twitter account sucks?

FYI Larry Ellison was on Theranos board.
  31. A

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

Tesla survivability isn't guaranteed and Tesla, right here and now, is in a very precarious situation. Would you hold your shares to zero? Would you like to help prevent them from going to zero? I should add TSLA has dropped from the 420 high until now about 40%. There are no stock market rules...
  32. A

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

Well said. I mean how would you feel killing yourself as an employee at Tesla, having your stock compensation fall and here's your boss making rap videos, having a pissing match with SEC etc. etc. Then asking for more...and more
  33. A

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

Jeez I'm lashing out because of the self inflicted damage we've all witnessed since the 420 tweet. Of course I'm thinking with my wallet...I mean this is the inventing forum. And really the only "bad side" is so frustratingly easy to fix vs. the hyper complicated other amazing stuff he does. It...

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

He does not want those 1% to get caught...therein lies the problem.
  35. A

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

He won't stand for monitoring(this has been proven) nor will he refrain from tweeting inappropriately. He is the face of TESLA. He just retweeted a porn site for chrissakes.
  36. A

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

Yes but institutional investors don't want a CEO who is ****ing with the SEC! And what's troubling is nobody at the executive level seems to understand that.
  37. A

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

Just gonna say I got tons of disagrees when I said TSLA would hit the 240s soon when we were still near 300. We gotta wake up people.
  38. A

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

Look...I'm an enormous Tesla/Elon fanboy...I own more TSLA than I should(averaged in at 200ish w/10 year timeline), have owned four Teslas and as soon as that Model S refresh hits, five, then the pick-up of course etc. With that said I'm not delusional in regards to what has happened since the...
  39. A

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

Before we get back into any kind of sustainable uptrend will positively need institutional support. Not going to happen unless Elon is replaced as CEO or he changes the way he communicates in a very big, probably not possible way.
  40. A

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

Disagreers are either delusional or don't hold as much TSLA as I do;)

Elon, please see below for instructions on how to delete your Twitter account.

I just thinks it's so important for the future of Tesla...and such an easy thing to fix.
  42. A

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

Without going into a detailed rebuttal...as you stated earlier there is only risk and no upside associated with Elon's desire to act like a teenager on Twitter. I mean, for example(one of so many) if you're say, T Rowe Price, are you going to hold billions worth of stock when the CEO has no...

Elon, please see below for instructions on how to delete your Twitter account.

This thread holds up pretty well though now down about 65% since 420 tweet. And still arguing with SEC about his Twitter usage...which he will inevitably violate. How one of the greatest geniuses in human history doesn't see(esp NOW) the peril of his crazy teenageresque Twitter usage and the...

Elon, please see below for instructions on how to delete your Twitter account.

    1. won't listen to "babysitter" nor even allow one 2. won't comply with basic rules 3. won't act like grown up on Twitter(majority of his post around 15 yr old level)
