This is not looking good for Tesla owners in California, what more when the Model 3 ramps up. Long distance travel is gonna be a headache. 48% of teslas are in California with only 17% of Superchargers, when are they gonna start building more of these?

Nvidia and Audi are going to built self driving 2010 with Xavier

So when do you think Xavier will trickle down to Model S,X,3? You wouldnt want to buy a Tesla with old GPU when you know its right around the corner. I'm drooling for this to make the M3 or MY in a couple of years.

When will the Model Y be unveiled?

This makes sense. I am also thinking, if the demand is much greater for the Y they should increase production capacity for Model Y instead of the Model 3? I think Elon should show us the prototype of the Model Y, and start taking reservations. This would be a good way to gauge demand before...

Nvidia and Audi are going to built self driving 2010 with Xavier

Elon said it was 12 TOPS on the October conference call, its the smaller version of the PX2 I might be mistaken here.

Nvidia and Audi are going to built self driving 2010 with Xavier

The one installed in current Model S/X is 12 TOPS and is the cut down version of PX2. Will this be enough power for FSD? or is it only for EAP and shadow mode for fleet learning. I wonder what GPU they will use in the Model 3's. Xavier which is the 3rd gen of the PX2 is going to be released Q4...

No AWD for Model 3 until next year confirmed

I just feel that the longer you wait the better car you will have. I don't mind waiting for the 375D. Then again whats another couple years to wait for the MY.

    Speculation on Model Y Features

How long is a few years according to Elon? 3-4 years? Thats a pretty long time to wait for the Model Y if that really is the car you want. On top of waiting for the M3 for 3-4 years thats an 8 year wait. Elon should at least give us a flavor or a prototype so we can transfer our reservation over...

Anyone willing to wait for a USED Model 3?

Thanks, where are the best places to look online for volts? for non CPO cars.com has good prices, dont mind waiting a couple more years until the Model Y comes out around 2020.

Elon Tweet: No 'significantly new consumer-facing technology' in Model 3

I think the PX2 will not control the UI it has to use a separate soc for the UI, the PX2 is used for Autonomous CPU functions.

Anyone willing to wait for a USED Model 3?

Im looking on getting a used Volt I have a M3 reservation, this will be a good car to hold me down while i wait a couple of years for a M3. I've seen used 2014 Volts go for 13-15K under 30K miles, its a great deal, would getting a CPO volt be worth the extra 1-2K?

Attempting to price out options for Model 3

i did the math buying a camry and gas costs for 100K miles is around 36K usd. so if you include oil change it will probably cost more. so yeah 35K is a really good deal for a model 3. im not saying i wont pay for upgrades, but lets see how the pricing will be after part 2 of the reveal...

Attempting to price out options for Model 3

80K for a fully loaded M3 thats retarded, its not practical to spend that much on a daily driver IMHO. this isnt for the mass market if your getting all the bells and whistles. TBH if you wanna talk practical the base M3 for 35K should be good enough.
