Amen to that. I have spent countless hours in Tucson level 2 charging. I would be happier if it was closer to I-19, but I will happily drive out of my way to supercharge.

There are significant elevation changes between Tempe and Holbrook. In addition, it is monsoon season in AZ and you might have some wind too. I would study plugshare pretty closely for some charging alternatives on your route.

Location is relative. Tempe is certainly not centrally located in the Phoenix metropolis. Tempe is, and always has been, a college town. I don't know any college students who can afford to buy any model of Tesla.

I got a 2013 P85 CPO last September with almost every option. It had 18K miles on it. My 90% charge rate is 232 miles. It was delivered in superb condition with a 5 year 50K warranty. You may want to look at CPOs so you can take advantage of the included warranty.
