There were a number of articles several years back about Google determining it was safer to have their cars violate the speed limit if it meant they were staying within the flow of traffic (within reason). Seems there were also problems related to crossing a double yellow line.
Several things worth remembering. A lot of the pro-LIDAR people are involved with MobilEye and MobilEye is selling HD maps, they're obviously going to campaign (and probably politically lobby) for consensus that their solution is correct. Tesla isn't using a single sensor or even just "vision"...
I mean technically now your car’s behavior is like a fake ICE manual transmission... ;)
Have you had a chance to test on other off-ramps yet?
OT: I had creep on because it was easier to make small, single pedal, adjustments when parking. Switched to hold once that was an option. Definitely had...
I was noticing the display showing a car when there wasn’t one. Took me awhile to realize autopilot was picking up my hand when I was driving with an arm hanging out the window. I’m on 42.3.
Even knowing how quickly they can truck it from the factory, I was a little surprised myself and went back to check the door pillar a second time. =)

On the side of the cable that plus into the phone, the plug casing needs to be a certain size and shape to snap into the console if you want to use it like a dock. An ordinary cable can just be pulled through if you want a cord that stretches out into the car.
In other threads people were pulling reservation time stamps from the code and they were UTC. Possible your date is too, depending on how late on 3/31 your reservation was.
In the "Let's discuss Dual Motor range" thread, there seems to be some evidence that the range loss is closer to 8%, not 11%, and that the rest of the discrepancy in the MPGe numbers is due to a difference in the charging efficiency number the EPA used.
I'm hoping the 116MPGe number for the performance includes the 20" wheels, working under the assumption that the number was figured before they split the wheels into an optional package. (trying to be optimistic that the non-P AWD is more efficient than the P)
There is something odd in the EPA data. While it lists improved HWY MPGe numbers between 2017 and 2018, it lists reduced HWY range. The explanation of higher charging efficiency is fine for the different MPGe number, but why the reduced HWY range...
Electrek had an article about this recently and I was quite excited to hear about it. I love using Siri for unlocking my house, and car seems like it would be equally great. Just hoping it also works with Apple Watch.
Tesla’s Siri integration now works with Model 3
Insideevs seems to have reasonable numbers.
The 6 Automakers Closest To Losing Federal Tax Credit
Poke around their site a bit they also have estimates for Model 3s produced so far this quarter. Best I can figure, Tesla will produce enough Model 3s to put them over the limit by about 20k...
I think it also depends on what motor availability is like. Using the same for front and back, you could build twice as many cars RWD vs AWD if you are motor constrained.
If memory serves, he said initial availability would be wheel/color choices, but that there would be boxes indicating future options along with probable shipping dates. He gave dual motor as an example with early 2018 availability.
