Quick update. Updated to the latest version and took it for a 45mins ride with TACC/AP. They both work great!! I feel the car is little more stable when I drove it on the freeway today. Anyone has a similar experience?

I got 2.50.201 2 nights ago and I was able to get both Cruise Control and Autosteering to work tonight. Autosteering works only in freeway and the speed is 35mph or less. It will say it won't work in this road if you don't satisfy both conditions. In LA, I am fine with these 2 conditions...

@HumanGenome - I have been following the postings on this forum but I was not aware of the AP1 is even disabled. I thought AP2 will be released soon but I didn't know AP1 will not be available as well. I totally agree that the DS is not doing a good job explaining that at all.

@cdub - For folks in LA, it wouldn't matter even they set it to 25mph since we have heavy traffics anyway :-(. I think it is always great to take a slowly since safety is our highest priority. Also, I trust Tesla will appreciate not to have more bad news about its AP.

That is what I thought as well. I have a S75 and I have set it to 80% for my daily commute usage. After I explained the same to her, she is still insisting that SC will degrade the battery life. I think Tesla is asking people to stop using SC so they don't need to build more SC centers...

I am picking up the car just now. My order was placed on 7/16. I wanted to defer my pickup until AP2 is made available. I submitted my loan application last Saturday and received the approval last night.

My loan application has been approved. I got 1.74% interest rate for 72 months term. Anyone got a better rate than this? I am doing 10% down payment.
