I'd prefer if they were familiar with Tesla's so there is no problem with the electronics/sensors they might have to detach when removing the bumper. Regardless, would appreciate recs for a good quality body shop in SoCal that does work regularly on Tesla's.

It's hard to tell which shops are quality when only a handful are Tesla certified. Yelp and google reviews only go so far. Any recommendations in SoCal?

There's a thread on this in the Interior/Exterior subforum I believe. Had the same issue on my 12/16 delivery. Called the SC and they said it was a known software issue to be fixed in an update soon. I was doubtful but it seems to have been fixed for me somewhere in the 2.5* firmware range.

It seems there are specific roads (probably only major highways) that are flagged by Tesla to allow autosteer. When you see the steering wheel icon on the top right that is when you are able to engage autosteer. This cannot be overridden on roads that are not greenlit by Tesla.

It's the third week of the quarter. This was an easy 'demand lever' for them to pull. You can bet there will be more this quarter. To be honest I doubt any of the features you suggest will produce more demand for ordering a car outright.

At the moment AP2 doesn't even render adjacent cars so I am hoping after adjacent cars are added there will be some progress as I don't see AP going far without merging traffic being addressed more appropriately. It is a big safety issue.

They were referring to an issue when a car in front of you moves out of the lane the Tesla accelerates too quickly to catch up to the next vehicle or max speed - not necessarily when passing.

I would say all the time .. in good weather. A solid 3-4 months out of the year will not see much use. But the rest of the year will be awesome.

I'll tack on my data point to the .185 update: S60, AP2 Delivered on 12/20 Updated to .185 on 1/3 Cameras calibrated after about 20 miles split between highway and surface streets during day-time good weather, well-marked lanes. Enabled after parking overnight and restarting the next morning...

It might be a contributory factor, but I am doubtful that cold weather is the primary issue. Mine hasn't experienced anything below 60F and is 2 weeks out from delivery. I am betting on a hardware/build issue.

I haven't installed it yet, but plan to. The mic grill on my AP2 does have the extra power connector. Lots of guides/tutorials out there. I plan to use this Dash Cam install as well as others. Can't speak to the glass roof.

Thanks for the data point - we shall see if it is fixed. I will say I had the incomplete unfolding mirror problem on the driver's side (~2 weeks out from delivery). Updated to .185 this morning and haven't experienced it yet, but will report back.

What's pretty clear is that some Tesla owners have been spoon-fed their entire lives. Those complaining about paying for something not yet realized - consider it monthly tuition on a life lesson.
