I've taken to pulling on the AP stalk instead of touching the wheel to get rid of the nag. Much easier than getting the torque right as sometimes AP will be disabled with the slightest touch when it's unsure.

I had a 100D for two years and thought it was fast. Just got a Raven Performance, and found out what fast really means. When you floor it, it's like you are suddenly hanging from the steering wheel, holding on for dear life.

It's literally the only thing I miss from my totaled 2017 100D. Guess I should have asked if I could buy some parts back! Having two Teslas on one HPWC is a lot easier with the faster charging.

I got FSD added pretty quickly, but Ludicrous took almost three weeks and a couple of different points of contact. I'm guessing they are busy with a lot of upgrades given the free promotion.

That extra range really does matter on road trips. But if you're not going to be traveling a lot, I'd get the newer car with HEPA and AP2. At least you'll continue to get updates - and maybe a new computer if it has FSD.

I could not be happier with my Raven Performance. It blows my 2017 100D away - no acceleration shudder, much smoother, and the seats seem to be a bit softer too. Can't say enough good things about the suspension. 345 miles of range is nice too!

For what it's worth, I'm loving my Raven Model S Performance more each day! It's definitely worth the wait. Who knows what the September refresh will bring, but I think the car is nearly perfect now. I worry they might mess up some things I like.

Interesting - I got the Ludicrous update, but both that and FSD were not showing on my car. But after the latest update pressing Insane+ brings up the battery warming option.

My 2016 sounds like an ICE car when the A/C is running hard. I got the same response that it's "normal". Neither the 2017 or my 2019 have ever been nearly as loud.

The Ecohitch worked very well on my S until I got rear ended, and I can confirm that there are no warranty concerns after an extensive conversation with a very knowledgeable Tesla Ranger who had concrete examples of Tesla trying and failing to void warranties on early adopters of the tow hitch.

I've got the factory sonic carbon 19's on my new white Performance S and they look SO much better than the standard wheels. I like the way the dark grey matches the roof tint and spoiler.

It had the thick cables like all the other chargers I'd used, would they be replaced with the thinner liquid cooled? Also, there were two chargers per white cabinet - doesn't V3 require something different?

I have to say the new suspension is pretty darn good, at least on the highway. Can't wait to see how it handles curves. Just took delivery of a "Raven" Ludicrous Model S. Car is much quieter than the 100D it replaces as well.

It's Ludicrous, and yes 19s. Only downside, I can confirm the 48 volt charging rate vs 72 on my old 100D.

It was even worse when FSD and AP2 was first "offered" in 2016. Got the car, didn't even have cruise control.

I need to go check it out, looks like it's towards the front of the parking lot well away from the store... hopefully at least so they won't get iced! Very convenient location for anyone headed south, not so much for Northern Beaches as it's a 10 mile drive south from the Wright Bridge.
