5 years later and from what I can see Tesla have done nothing about this. I’ve done the shortcut as someone mentioned above but SURELY Tesla should sort this?? Does it only affect Model S&X or are Y&3 affected too?

lol yep, I wonder how many front junction boxes there are which aren't bolted back down properly! Makes it a lot easier for when it goes again (which it will!) But well done!

I’d have liked to get that trim off but I couldn’t get my wipers off the splines so I left them and it on. I managed to get 2 of the 3 bolts off and then bent it forwards enough to get at the back small bolts. These small bolts, you want to use a rachet spanner as you won’t get a socket on it...

Well all’s well that ends well. I’ve changed the fuse and heater is working a treat. Although the forward junction box now only has 4 of the 8 bolts back in lol. It’s definitely doable but fiddly as hell to get those bottom bolts from above.

I’ve nothing to compare it to but I’d say I have high phantom drain (7 miles a day) if I leave it at the airport.

Thanks Arg. Is this 100% accurate. i.e. I am never going to get 22kw from any charger at home (even with 3 phase)? I definitely have the higher spec charger in the car. If so, I'm not even going to bother. I'll just stick with my free 7.4kw charger which came with the car.
