Yes, it'll auto record once the vehicle is powered up. It will record in loops (length can be determined by user) with the oldest recorded over to make room for the newest clip. It doesn't record when the car is off.

All appears to be well on my end. Our local Delivery Specialist and a regional CPO Advisor have assured me that car has AP1 hardware and will be activated upon delivery. The 70D is on its way (maybe there by now?!) to Chicago to be assessed and refurbished. Exciting times!
