Just picked up my car last week. The 2 options for paying is ACH or Cashiers Check. They will not take CC for anything more than the deposit and they will not take a personal check. Hope that helps

Picked up my car on Thursday in Freemont, CA. Delivery center was a mess with EOQ, and nothing was ready. So we left and went to our factory tour and came back. BTW If you haven't done a factory tour, you need to.... Very cool.. By the time we got back to the delivery center everything...

California does not give a tax credit for trade in. So be careful here. I would call the CA DMV and the TX DMV and tell them both what you are doing and then compare notes.

So my delivery is today, My Tesla finally updated this morning showing out of production even though it was out last week. My Tesla is still showing APH2. is there any easy way to check to see if 2.5 is enabled.. since there are other errors in my config options not sure I even trust that site.

Perfect timing as I pick up my S 75D tomorrow at the factory and then take 3 days to drive up the coast back to Seattle. This is exactly what I needed last week when I was trying to plan my trip :) Will redo with this update. Thanks for all the hard work!

Uggh really.. Then they probably don't allow you mileage forgiveness, but worth asking.

Never tried with Tesla, but most I have done in the past will wave with release... also if you prepay for miles they are a fraction of the cost of paying afterwords. So if you think you will do 15-18k miles a year prepay the lease upfront on the miles as it is way cheaper than when you turn it in.

I wouldn't worry about it to much, my car came out of production today for delivery next Thursday, however the Tesla page still shows it in production. My DS said the Tesla page can be 2-4 days behind sometimes more..

I would agree that the odds of them putting EAP in complimentary are very low. Better to lower the overall cost of the car slightly and make you pay for EAP. Gives them 2 things, 1 most will spend the extra, and 2 they can report to WallStreet how many people are buying EAP, etc.

Nice Doing the same here from Seattle. Delivery at 2PM on 9/28 car went into production 9/15. Factory tour at 4pm. Then heading back up the coast over the weekend. Good luck, and your tell your DS you are booking flights and they will schedule your date now.

Make sure you put insurance on it as soon as you "accept" delivery.

75D is showing up in a couple weeks. I am looking for a good shop in the Seattle area for tint, wrap services, and dash-cam, etc. All one shop or multiple, but looking for someone that is used to working on Teslas. Anyone have any recommendations? Thanks,

Ya I read that too.. I am picking up Thursday and then taking a few days and driving back home to WA along the coast with the wife. Then will get it cleaned up and some wrap on it.

I was told Fremont deliveries will start production around 9/19. My DA just got me confirmed for 9/28 at 2pm delivery for my car that goes into production on 9/19.
