Unfortunately quite far from any of their locations and I don’t think they ship them directly (so that I could have mobile service install them). Am I mistaken?
As you can see, there is an ever so slight raise in the panel next to the head light. it is barely noticeable in person. Is this something I should take to the service center/will they fix it?
OK, so the Pilot Sport All Season 4 seem out of stock everywhere. Is there any other All Season alternative that will fit on the Model 3 Performance 20 inch Uber Turbines that I am somehow overlooking on Tirerack/Discount Tire? Not interested in buying new wheels/prefer an All Season to avoid...
Anyone try these yet with the Uberturbines? Planning on pulling the trigger soon.
Also, Tesla still doing the mobile service where they come out and swap them out for you?
PILOT SPORT ALL SEASON 4 - SIZE: 235/35ZR20...
Ah I didn’t realize no one has really had this issue yet. Let’s hope they put some process in place for folks who want to just lease a new Tesla but not be left with a gap between cars.
Reviving an old thread...anyone have any other options for a Model 3 Performance other than the Michelin Alpin if you just want a 20 inch all-season tire on the Uberturbines that come with the car? It looks like the AS3+ was discontinued but I haven't seen a replacement...
I have more than 2.5 years left on my lease for Model 3 Performance, but the delivery process was, as everyone knows, not the greatest with constantly changing dates. How does one manage that dynamic if they are on a lease with a current Tesla, and they just want to lease a new Tesla before...
What does lease end look like for Tesla? If I want to lease another one, do they basically let me make the switch when the new one comes in? Given they basically deliver cars at the end of each quarter, wondering if this is going to be a pain in three years.
That's what I was thinking because I cleaned the screen. But that's pretty crazy. It was completely dry. So it was just whatever residue was on the screen from me cleaning it.
So I was sitting outside a store with the car on waiting for my wife when all of a sudden the frunk opened itself while parked. It then kept reopening the frunk after I got out to shut it. I even noticed the latch for the frunk kept moving when I opened it (jiggering back and forth), suggesting...
The other problem is this panel detached after driving the other day. I was able to snap back into place so I could drive home but it still looks somewhat off, as you can see. I put in a request at SC but can’t get in until next week of course. I have a long trip this weekend planned - think it...
Just ran my finger over it. Definitely not runny - it was hard, like if you felt glue that had dried up. Any idea?
It's definitely concerning seeing this under the car. It's on both sides.
So I was taking a picture because the bottom panel of my 2021 Model 3 performance popped up (another issue I need to have fixed), and noticed this. What is this residue underneath the car? Is this a problem?
Does anyone know if the Pilot Sport all seasons were discontinued? They were out of stock a few weeks ago and now not even listed on tire rack. Seems like now the only choice that fit the uberturbine rims are the Alpins, which are way more expensive.
Very frustrating. Same thing - key functionality seems to be working fine (although not before a reconnect) but won't connect to bluetooth automatically. Is this something the Service Center can address?
Gah. I updated last night, and now my phone Bluetooth won’t auto connect, although it will still let me unlock when I walk up to it. Any idea guys? It was working perfectly before update.
Darn - out of stock. Oh well, I can wait a bit. It seems like these might be better than the Alpin, but these Tirerack reviews are always so subjective.
Hey everyone - This is the right one to buy if I go with the MICHELIN Pilot Sport all seasons, right? Looks like they are sold out in multiple spots...
Yeah I agree - it's just more the temperature thing with the stock Pirellis.
Which Michelins did you put on? unfortunately the Michelin pilot sport a/s 3+ 235/35zr20 are out of stock on TireRack. :(
Still waiting on update on M3, but seems normal given the VIN. Do we have any sense of when V11 might come out? It seems like the new Model S will have to have it upon delivery, but I don't know if Tesla typically moves the whole fleet to a new software at the same time.
I always found it difficult to find examples of what to be looking for that seems off with the panels, so for anyone's future reference, this is what I'm hoping to get fixed on the passenger door (first pic) on Thursday. The other door on the passenger side seems alright to me, but not perfect...
What’s everyone’s view on the temp guidance for the Pirelli tires? I am taking the car into service on Thursday to get a few things addressed and we are of course getting some cold temps then that will dip a bit below 45 degrees. Wondering if I should reschedule or if it’ll be fine.
Car arrived today. Will post more tomorrow...but speechless. No panel gap/paint issues, minor headlight adjustment on the left hand side. But I went in cold from a BMW to the Model 3 and I am truly shocked by the quality of the interior and the drive, having driven a 4 series for 6+ years...
I'm scheduled to pick up 3/28, but for a litany of reasons, it'd be easier if I could pick up on 3/27 but supposedly the car doesn't arrive until this evening per whoever I'm talking to on the text thread. Worth pinging them again in case it arrives earlier than expected off the truck? I feel...
For the folks who took delivery, what’s the 0-60 like? Is it there when you need it or am I going to be driving this thing into trees in the neighborhood?
In case helpful I’ve had my VIN since March 5. Called Tesla today because my SA just doesn’t answer. He looked it up and said the car is still in the factory but anticipates I will probably take delivery within 17 days.
Honestly I’m just kind of pissed. What’s the deal here? Are all the folks with March deliveries just the new folks who have been waiting since November?
feels like a bait and switch to be honest.
Anyone have any good videos or checklists of what to run through on delivery day? I feel pretty confident as I’m picky but don’t want to miss anything.
