    Tesla Inverter + Neurio

Any update on this? I'm looking for a way to use a Tesla modified Neurio without the Tesla powerwall gateway.

That's right where I've been saying it should go for years! Finally!

DIY UV Treatment for Yellowed MCU Screen

FWIW, I bought and attempted this exact same setup and it had no effect.

    Supercharger - Gulf Breeze, FL

Well, that's not a great spot for this one for travelers... hopefully the Pensacola charger won't actually be downtown. If there's anyone that can put a bug in planning's ear, the Pensacola charger should go at the I-10/110 interconnect. 6 miles south in the middle of downtown is a terrible...

    Supercharger - Crestview, FL

I saw it a few weeks ago... Extremely disappointing, considering the distinct lack of available charging in this city.

    TeslaMate [megathread]

This. Same thing happened for me. Anyone else lose all the data on their "Visited" Dashboard?

    Supercharger - Crestview, FL

Tesla is out working on this charger today. Circuit 1 has been down for almost a month now.

    Supercharger - Crestview, FL

Look like Fred is gonna be a direct hit here. Not sure why these stalls are taking such a hit, but I have noticed I don't hear the pumps running in the stalls like I do at other 250kW chargers.

    Supercharger - Crestview, FL

The majority of these stalls are down and the station reports as 'Reduced Service'.

    Adjusting charging amps remotely?

I'm originally from Florida, but yes, I came to Oregon because of my job.

    Adjusting charging amps remotely?

I did a lot of the work myself, but I had a lot of help from a friend's notes on the subject. One thing I didn't do was put the iBooster in. Someone else did that while I was working on other things on the car. Not a lot of other links, but you can take a look at my off grid setup. It's coming...

    Adjusting charging amps remotely?

I actually wrote a bash script to do this if you've got a neurio (or similarly setup API for solar power monitoring) and root access to the MCU. Alternatively, I've seen direct interfacing with the HPWC and a raspberry pi to do the same. I did it because I didn't have net metering here and I...

In-development: Inexpensive Custom BMS for Tesla Battery Modules

I think it's a memory leak, too. I've tried a handful of things to fix it with no luck so far. I use Grafana and InfluxDB. I've got Influx running in a VM on my NAS and Grafana on a separate rPi4 somewhere because the FreeBSD version isn't up to date. I want to use an rPi because I really don't...

In-development: Inexpensive Custom BMS for Tesla Battery Modules

There are still a lot of changes that could be made to the code to make it cleaner and remove the pieces I don't use (I don't think I use any CAN traffic). It also freezes every 5.5-6 hours and has to be rebooted and I haven't been able to figure out why. I'd really like to find a way to just...

In-development: Inexpensive Custom BMS for Tesla Battery Modules

Yes, no SimpBMS setup. I'm no longer using the TeslaBMS2 with the teensy. I'm using the Arduino Due with my fork of the TeslaBMS code. You can check stats and link to my code below: LongDog Power Plant

In-development: Inexpensive Custom BMS for Tesla Battery Modules

Just the software and an arduino teensy 3.5, I think. Might be a 3.6.

In-development: Inexpensive Custom BMS for Tesla Battery Modules

I played with Collin's BMS software, got it to work, but for balancing reasons I moved over to Tom Debree's TeslaBMSV2 (a fork of collin's project). I took a hard look at EVTV and SimpBMS (also made by Tom), but couldn't justify the cost with all the open source options available. With some...

I did this over a year ago. Did the full AP1 retrofit with some aid, as well.

Yep, that's the connector for the rear wiring harness for parking sensors. Just connected up to it the other week for mine.

Vendor Instructions for facelift bumper/fascia installation on nosecone Model S

Next week. I'm waiting on the next 6 sensors I ordered to come in so I can finish my parking sensor retrofit at the same time I install the bumper. Once it's all installed I have to send everything off to get painted.

Starting to think maybe I should have just done this instead of ordering the T Sportline version.

Vendor Instructions for facelift bumper/fascia installation on nosecone Model S

I'm excited to see the result, Victor. I'm still waiting on my sensors to come in later this week so I can install my front bumper and complete my parking sensor retrofit.

Vendor Instructions for facelift bumper/fascia installation on nosecone Model S

I got mine, but I haven't even opened it yet. Waiting for a wiring harness and sensors so I can retrofit my parking sensors at the same time.

I completely agree! I didn't know about the price difference when I originally made that post. Definitely shot Norm an email asking to buy a set, though.

Lighted door sill plates By Norm

I'd like if either could post a link where to buy these, but just to be fair: -Norm, I hope you're not buying Tesland's merch and selling it as your own. -Tesland, quit being a bully on a community forum.

Do you have the steering wheel airbag/controls for the new steering column?

Have you tried to use Siri to unlock your Tesla ?

Swiping to move my cursor, frontend for messages on a PC, snapchat and instagram tweaks, among other mini system tweaks I prefer to have running.

Have you tried to use Siri to unlock your Tesla ?

I'm jailbroken and also don't want to leave iOS 10 at the moment. iPhone 7 Plus, iOS 10.1.1 Model S: 32.6

Have you tried to use Siri to unlock your Tesla ?

That's worth a shot. Doing it now. Edit: Nope.

Have you tried to use Siri to unlock your Tesla ?

Hmm... Siri just tells me I need to find an App on the App Store to do this, even with a current version of the Tesla app installed. Anyone else run into this?

George Hotz and comma.ai - open source project - progress updates?

Just ordered an EON and Panda. When the hardware comes in I'll update with videos on performance and ease of install.

    Possible to upgrade superseded parts?

Are updated steering columns and instrument clusters plug and play with older models? This knowledge is the only thing stopped me from dropping some cash on these parts and installing them. Tired of these backwards cruise/turn signal controls.

Canceled my day 1 Model 3 reservation... and bought an S!!

I feel you! I got my deposit back and I was almost hoping Tesla was just going to tell me no and make me buy the car anyway. I love my MS, though. Only regret is not having pakring sensors or AP1... but I'm working on that!

Canceled my day 1 Model 3 reservation... and bought an S!!

Whoo! I did the same thing about a month ago and I've been loving it. I figured if I was going to spend all that money on all the Model 3 options I wanted I might as well just get the car that I actually want.

Parting out Tesla Model S's 2012-2016

Looking to retrofit my 2102 MS with parking sensors. Parts listed below that I'm looking for. Also as a side, a Gen 2 cluster and trip bezel, and an LTE module. 1014386-00-A ECU Park Assist 1 pc. 1008903-00-B Bracket 1 pc. 1006521-00-A Rivet...

    Possible to upgrade superseded parts?

I'm wanting to do all these to my 2012! Do we have part numbers associated with them? I've found instrument clusters and steering wheels/columns on eBay, but no trim bezel and of course I don't know if the screen I'm looking at is in fact higher resolution. No joy on the camera, either. Are...

    Service for Service's Sake?

So I bought a used 2012 P85 Model S from a dealership down in Tampa last month. I'm not really sure what kind of warranty is left on the vehicle or what's available to me in terms of service. What I do know is that I normally live and work in Florida and the closest service center to me is in...
