Thanks for replies. I guess I live with it. Not a fan of keeping a fob in the garage, since it might be forgotten when I am done and run both batteries down. The real problem is getting out to the garage and finding you forgot to bring the fob. Oh well, enough other stuff to enjoy on the car.

I use auto lock on my X when I walk away from the car, but the problem is that it always locks the car in my garage at home, which can be an inconvenience. Is there a way to disable auto lock at home, but keep it everywhere else? Definitely a first world problem, but still an annoyance. Thanks Mike

Haven't taken delivery on my MX yet - due next month. But, I have done something similar on my other cars. Does this give the driver enough of a view to use Waze while driving, yet still give full viewing and control of the Tesla big screen? Also, how do you release the phone from the cradle...
