To get battery percent of charge shown on the charging screen, you'll have to change the display in the car's controls menu to show pct rather than miles.

Stopped by late this moening. Found electrical contractor on site. He did not know when sc will go live, but he did say there is a planned power shut down on Nov 26 to do some final connections. Also, county inspections are not yet complete. So, he thinks no turn on before Nov 26.

I did get to stop. Light poles went in this morning. Some washing of mud from parking area. No pedestals. Workers said that's all that remains. We wait some more.

Friday. 1300 hrs. Three Potomac Edison trucks on site. About to depart, since they did not have enough cable to complete run down to BJ's. Poor planning. No charger pedestals delivered. Meter not yet installed. We wait.

Well you can get a Popeye's sammich before hooking up to the SC. Or Royal Farms fried Chicken. Or, if you've joined the cult, something from Chick-fil-a. All within a half mile. Or some genuine Buffalo wings at the Anchor across from the SC. I mean if you're not really up for gourmet burger...

Oh wells, we wait... Maybe I'll get a gourmet Red Robin burger to help pass the time...

No. Was going to on the way to pick someone up at BWI, but their flight was 30 minutes early and I skipped the charge. So how is Laurel?

Site Update: mostly nada. They spread out/carted away some of the dirt pile. Nothing else to report. Nothing new to take a photo of. Waiting, waiting, waiting...

Well, I did make a hash of the picture posting. Sorry. Observations: - Chain link construction site fencing is gone. - A moderate pile of dirt needs removal. Otherwise it's quite tidy at the site. - Looks like we get two light poles.

Well I cannot say I'm following the erudite discussion of power distribution. I can offer this photo taken today at the site. No meter yet.

My point is that summer temperatures effect my range. Maybe not your range. As re setting low regen on freeways, conserving momentum is more valuable than recooperating some charge with regen braking. At least that's how it works for me.

My experience this summer has been different. I think, since I have my X100D set to display state of charge, not miles of range. When it's been very hot, my trip display shows I burn upwards of 500 Wh/mi for the first 5 to 7 miles, and about 400 Wh/mi for up to the first 20 miles of travel...

I see you're a new member. Beg your pardon if you already know this: efficiency on short jaunts is low when it's cold outside. And when it's hot outside. It takes considerable energy to bring the inside of a cold car up to 70°. And to bring the inside of a hot car down to 70°. If you're plugged...

No one working at main site. Two-man crew doing cleanup along path of power supply conduit. Leveling and seeding. Talked to them. They said the power conduit work is complete. They don't know what's going on with the charger site. I did see that all 10 pedestal bases are now in place.
