Post pics of your black model 3 with aftermarket wheels or spoiler!

My winter wheels are back on too. Sorry I haven't gotten to give it a wash recently. Dont be afraid to add some color!

Input on Huge Crack in Windshield - Model 3 Delivery Day

That sucks. It looks like something hit the edge of the windshield. As long as the repair is done correctly, I would accept the car as new. Its an OEM windshield installed by the manufacturer. They really should have caught it before trying to deliver it to you. Other manufacturers do...

    Noob Buying Questions

Tesla definitely has some holes in the customer service department, mainly with communication. For the most part the experience will be similar to a normal dealership without the pushy sales and finance people, they will handle all the paperwork for you. It would be best to head to a service...

    FIVE carseats in MX

Bravo! That is some expert car seat Tetris! I will keep this post as reference. Did you volunteer to drive all the kids? How long was the drive? We just took a road trip with two toddlers, can't even begin to imagine what driving with 4 toddlers and a baby is like.

Still waiting for referral code SC miles

So I used a friend's referral since in VA I couldn't double dip. The miles showed up immediately, but it was incorrectly deducting the amount of miles used. That issue got fixed, but starting July 3, last week, the miles disappeared completely from my lootbox. Now I have charges on my credit...

Got Bit By Homelink On My New Car...

That really suckss!! Same thing happened to me too. They should really program it to send a signal to open the door when you're reversing toward the door. Some of that may be paint transfer and can be buffed out.

Diy Tire Rotation - Jack Stand Cradle

From the picture, it looks like the product allows jack stands to be placed next to the lift point. Are there any indication that the crease area supporting the jack stands is a safe lift point?

    DIY front mud/splash guards

That looks great! Thanks for posting. Might have to give these a try, especially in the winter. Have you noticed an impact on efficiency?

Vendor Road Comforts All Weather Custom Fit Mats - $79.99 for Model 3

Received these mats yesterday and installed them. They look and feel great with minimal off gassing. The fit is perfect in the car. Looking forward to checking out the frunk mat and hopefully there will be a trunk mat as well.

    Affordable Aero Spoiler?

I'd like them to do some actual testing showing the range efficiency increases beyond just CFD models. It would be worth the money then.

MASTER THREAD: Jack Points — location, use, damage, pads, etc.

Did the oblong shape of the jack stand points fit inside the circular hole on the car?

    Free Supercharger Miles inaccurate deduction

This happened to me too. I emailed support. Here is what is happening. The supercharger credit is actually a kwh credit. Someone on the subreddit calculated that 5000 miles = 2000 kwh. Thereore 1000 miles = 400 kwh. The deduction is being calculated off of the non-bonus amount and then applied...

SR/SR+ (Model 3 RWD) Waiting Room

Reporting order to delivery progress. Ordered Black/Black SR on May 13 with referral code. Received delivery scheduling text on May 26. Scheduled for June 5, car actually came in on June 1, but I had to sort out financing. Picked up yesterday, 5000 supercharger credits already added to account.

Tesla loan comparison spreadsheet - auto updates hourly

It depends on whether or not the CU will put a lien on your title. Choose the self-financing option if there is going a lien on your title so that Tesla can prepare the paperwork correctly. Otherwise at least with my CU, they'll charge you the fees for fixing that. The Cash option is for when...

    Aftermarket Rotiform Aerodiscs Wheels

I've been eyeing these and have been trying to find other turbofan style wheels too! I think they'll look great or at the very least very unique. I wonder if they'll improve efficiency over the stock aerowheels. A real turbofan wheel is design to suck in air to cool the brakes. If I get another...

Anyone Have Experience With Using Hub Ring Adapter For Wheels???

They are just plastic or metal inserts that help align the wheels to the hub like SammichLover said. As long as you install them correctly, they shouldn't interact mechanically with the car. I used plastic ones for my winter tires and did not have any vibration issues. I got plastic ones because...

    Which Snows and Why Poll?

RWD Michelin X-Ice XI3 - 225/45R18 Good reviews and 40k mile treadlife warranty. I've been driving around on them this week and they feel at least equivalent, if not better than the MXM4s for road noise and comfort. Efficiency of my new wheels with them are also in the same ballpark as the 18...

Good, not too heavy and not too pricy rims for snow tires? 18" RWD.

True, I forgot they came mounted. Still need the adapter at home though. Has anyone used the aluminum ones?

Good, not too heavy and not too pricy rims for snow tires? 18" RWD.

To answer your question regarding TPMS sensors. If you replace just the tire, they do not need to be reprogrammed, they'll automatically be re-calibrated after 15 miles of driving.

Good, not too heavy and not too pricy rims for snow tires? 18" RWD.

Looks great!! I was also considering getting a package like that through Tirerack. Are you sure those tires are 235/45R18? I don't see them available in that size. Also did the shop you took your car to have the appropriate jack adapters or did you supply them? Here's what I am getting...

    Touch-Up Paint

Tesla service center said to contact body shops, but the Tesla affiliated body-shops in my area will not sell paint. What color are you looking for? Tesla doesn't have the MultiCoatRed in stock at the moment or ever (it seems). I picked up the Dr Colorchip kit to fill a rock chip. The paint...
