I picked my demo vehicle on July 26th and it's in great condition. Probably because it only had 40 miles. May be it was originally meant to be used for demo but changed to inventory given the shortages.

There are sites if you Google who will search for inventory vehicles and you can sign up for instant notifications when they become available. Generally you got to be quick and order within few seconds of seeing a notification since they will be gone in couple of seconds.

If I had to bet no there is no interior refresh happening. They already refreshed the MCU which is a huge deal. They have their hands full with Model 3 and S/X are taken care with MCU refresh for the foreseeable future.

As far as refresh, they already did the MCU refresh which was a big deal. They have bigger fish to fry than bother about Model X/S interior refresh which is perfectly fine. Main complain was the tech compared to Model 3 which they took care of with MCU refresh. Just my 2 cents.

I ordered on Feb 14th, one or two days after Model X deliveries slipped to June. But since I ordered just when it happened I got lucky and my Model X delivered couple of weeks back even though my estimated initial delivery said June. I kind of knew it was March when I got a VIN assigned...

Yes it's a bug. Reset with pressing two scroll wheels doesn't work for some of us with new MCU. I picked up Thursday and can't connect to WiFi, also unable to reset by pressing scroll wheels simultaneously. Called Tesla and they confirmed both are known issues and will resolve with 10.2016.12...

That's what they told me when I asked them about drilling a hole...I haven't gotten a chance to look at the brackets. They specifically told me don't drill a hole and if needed get the plates to them and they will fit that.

It was in the front trunk and once I receive the license plates in mail, they will put it on for me if needed. They also mentioned no need to drill a hole and the brackets go under the bumper. May be since your's is inventory vehicle they had already did it in Nevada and DS said just to cover...

MX 100D white/sonic carbon wheels/7 seat white interior with carbon fiber. New MCU as expected. Took delivery on 3/28 at Bellevue, WA and updated spreadsheet.

Picked up my model X, will update spreadsheet tonight and pics coming soon. Already calibrated for Auto pilot and going for a drive now :)

Got my final price sheet, $130,743.51 after taxes and registration... Feeling guilty paying that much for the car :) Hopefully, it's worth it and I won't regret. Definitely not showing the final offic to wife she thinks it's around 100k. And she was freaking out for that itself.

DS called and confirmed for delivery tomorrow at 3 PM. So looks set for tomorrow :)
