HVAC barely blowing air (possibly blocked somewhere?)

I'm experiencing this as well on multi-hour trips this week for Thanksgiving. Heat working fine for a while. Then the airflow seems to almost stop. After supercharging it works again. Did you ever take your car in for a fix or are you just working around the issue?

2020 Model S usb drive issues

That tip is brilliant. I've been trying to get my dash cam to work for a month. It was missing the TeslaCam folder. I added that and now it all works as expected! Thank you!

19" 2020 Long Range Plus Wheels - What are these called?

I bought a set of wheel caps and lug covers for a Model 3. They work fine on the Tempest wheels for the S.

That was what I initially thought until I saw the Tempest Wheels on the Tesla Shop. These are called Tempest as well.

19" 2020 Long Range Plus Wheels - What are these called?

What are the wheels that are behind the Long Range Plus Hub caps called? I just purchased this 2020 Model S and pulled the hubcaps off and these look great! (At least after I spend 30 minutes cleaning them up!)

Recommendations for a Used 2019/2020 S with Comfortable suspension and without a driveline vibration at 40mph.

I'm looking for a used Model S with the most comfortable suspension and no driveline vibration. I have read numerous posts and I'm trying to determine the sweet spot in cars to get the ones that would fit these two requirements. Suspension: There is Smart Air suspension and Adaptive Suspension...

2018 Center Screen replacement cost - yellow edges

I'm looking at a 2018 MS for sale and it has the very yellow edge around the center screen. I would like to talk the selling dealer down on price due to the screen needing replacement. Has anyone had Tesla replace the screen/MCU that could share the estimated cost? Thanks!

How much money you have spent after took M3 home

I see folks are looking at screen protectors...I still have the one that came with the car on the screen after 2 years. It works great, no issues. My recommendation is to NOT pull off the one the car comes with until there is an issue with it.

Have You Purchased a Pre-Painted Bumper from Tesla?

The pre-painted front bumper from Tesla was $365 + installation. I had hit a deer.

Just bought a New 2018 LR RWD from Tesla

If I were to buy a 2018 new today, I would need Tesla to reduce the vehicle price by the federal rebate that was available at the time the car was manufactured. I bought my M3 in Nov 2018 so I could cash in on the fed tax credit.

    Model 3 vs Deer

M3 went into the Raleigh SC for repair. Insurance all worked out. Estimated to be complete by end of next week. Fingers crossed. In the meantime, I'm driving my old 87 Mercedes 300SDL. I'll need to remember that the acceleration is significantly different.

    Model 3 vs Deer

Interestingly, I was corresponding with a Tesla Body Shop Advocate and he recommended I stop by the Raleigh Service Center and let them look at the damage that they may be able to repair it. So, I stopped by this morning and they indicated that the only issue with repairing it is that they would...

    Model 3 vs Deer

Estimate from Gerber was $3100. This would entail a new fender that would need to be painted and blended into the drivers side door. They would repair and paint the bumper and replace the light. I corresponded with Tesla and I'll check with them next week to see if they can replace the panels.

    Model 3 vs Deer

I found the one body shop in Garner, NC that is certified to work on the Tesla's. I'll be going there tomorrow to get an estimate on the repair.

Thanks for the confirmation. That has been my experience as well that Autopilot doesn't handle erratic deer.

    Model 3 vs Deer

Autopilot was not on on this drive. As soon as I saw the deer, I was applying full braking and had slowed down to about 10-15 mph when I hit the deer. The deer on the other hand was at a full sprint which propelled it through the air that far. The Model 3 was perfectly stable stopping. I just...

On my drive home last night, I had an encounter with a deer. Aside from the cosmetic items I know that will need to be replaced and painted, any thoughts on what else may have been damaged behind the front bumper?

    Cabin Overheat Protection Not Working

Back to the original question. When I upgraded to 4.2 the cabin overheat with A/C stopped working reliably even after all the usual reboots. I think there is a new bug introduced that needs to be addressed. Sometimes it works....sometimes the car is 134 degrees or so.

    2019.20.4.2

Yes. Soft reboot (scroll wheel buttons). Same issue, power down and back on..same issue. It has happened about 4 times since the update. Unless there is a another way to reboot the car I'm not aware of.

    2019.20.4.2

I installed 4.2 last night. When I was coming back to the car from lunch I went to turn on the climate control via the phone. It indicated internal temp was 127 degrees. When I got in, overheat with a/c was still enabled. It looks like 4.2 has done something. Always worked flawlessly before...
