I can't seem to edit my original post. I will clarify further.
Tesla is striving for efficiency, as are its owners.
In order to increase efficiency while driving, sometimes coasting (free-wheeling) is preferable to braking.
Say for example, on autopilot, tesla recognises a traffic light turn...
A non-tesla owner, but a fan, does Tesla's software (or autopilot) intelligently coast?
I heard the ID.3 won't always apply regen if it makes sense to coast/glide, for instance when there may be a stop sign but it is far away so it is better to coast 'up' to it.

1. The model Y is to be a compact SUV. I thought the X was an SUV as well. Are they prioritising the Y because it will be cheaper (20-30k less) than X and therefore a lot more market?

I'm pretty light on details at this stage, but in my opinion, having watched this video explaining why train travel cost so much, it got me thinking.
We all know autonomous cars will eventually replace most journeys

If you have a relatively good storage area, you want to keep it fairly nice looking. Obviously Jaguar didn't bother with it.
So I saw two videos recently, I was disappointed with Jaguars design compared to model 3's.
Why do you think companies have such complexity and ugly bits like this under the bonnet?
I'm new to trading also.
Can someone tell me about the sort of profits you could get?
Lets assume: £2,000 ($3,000), right now when TSLA is at $266.13, and it rises to $383 in 6 months?
How much profit would be gained? Thanks.
Thanks.
