Update: Tesla finally got the part, and I'm scheduled for this Thursday. That's 7 weeks of waiting, but hopefully I'll get to drive the car next week.

Not really, I just cancelled my 75D and ordered 100D few hours ago.

My SA said very recently Tesla decided to not transfer the deposit. Whether that’s true or not, I don’t know. But I did order an inventory 100D with 20” rims. It’s white rather than black, but I can wrap it matte black if I really really wanted black.

She searched, but only 2 came up. One was the pearl white and the other blue. But blue was more expensive and had higher transport fee. I’ll probably have it wrapped if I don’t like the white in person.

After all the answers here, I just called my SA and ordered the 100D. It’s actually about $20k worth of upgrade from what I had purchased with 75D, but only $10k more. In reality $200 more per month, and I can easily do that and not worry about the range. And I plan on driving this car for 6-7...

Yeah, I ordered black on black, the 100D she has available is pearl white with cream interior. The opposite of what I ordered lol. Oh and $10k more.

Yes, Atlanta GA is mostly very flat. High 90s in summer and 30s in the winter. Morning drive will be pretty smooth, night drive back will be stuck in traffic

The average temp here in GA during the winter is about 26 in the morning 38 during the day.

I wish I could, but as a multiple retail store owner, my commute consists of visiting my 3-5 stores, so not only are there no plug ins in the parking lot, I only stay for about 30 minutes.

I’m not making any long range trips with my MX, we have another car for that. My main concern is can 75D make the 150 mile commute and maybe have 20 mile range left? I plan on charging every night.

I just asked my Sales Advisor and she said I should be ok with 75D and she’s scheduling a 24hour test drive for me to test my commute. But if I wanted to get 100D, the $2,500 is not transferrable and I have to pay another $2,500.

Is that because I cannot make the 150 miles commute on the 75D or to not have to worry about range with 100D? The 150miles is the maximum range I would use, some days I’ll use less than 120 miles

I’m not sure how to edit, but the reason for asking is, I’ve seen a lot of forum post saying don’t expect the 90% range, but rather 75-80%.

@HeloCaptain The drive is about 11 hours including supercharging in between, but with work and flight ticket prices, I would prefer the delivery. Otherwise, yes, I would have loved to go pick it up and have a nice quiet road trip.

@75Shappyt Yup, my Delivery Advisor said the car itself actually has been ready to go since last Wednesday. It's just a matter of trying to schedule the transport truck itself. And that's what is testing my patience lol.
