I got the HW3 upgrade done at Princeton, NJ this Friday. Dropped the car at 8:30 and it was ready on the same day by 4. I had to reset the WIFI connection and home link. All other settings were not changed.

I did the same. Switched from RWD to AWD. Spoke with ISA and changed the configuration even after the VIN assignment.

I am non Tesla owner. My second reservation made in August 2017 is ready for configuration. I think whoever has reservation might be able to configure now. Check your the reservation status.
