I did see a black model 3 with sport wheels in prep when I picked up mine today. Also, super smooth experience. I was out of there in 30 minutes total. And, it had the gift die cast model 3! Driving it is amazing. The hype doesn't do it justice.

There was a post in another thread about this, and someone claimed their insurance used base model price and didn't factor in options. Didn't seem right, but perhaps talk to your insurance and ask them if they are looking for purchase price or base model MSRP.

In case anyone is curious, I received my delivery date today! June 11th. This is a datapoint of one, so I'm not sure if it is related to the final payment info showing up in my account. However, if you see it, hopefully you get word on a delivery date shortly thereafter!

Not sure what interest rate you got, but, if you're in the DC area Tower FCU has (or at least had) 2.49%. That blew USAA out of the water when I was looking at financing options a month ago. I also agree with IhateOPEC ... USAA is garbage for auto insurance. There are much better options...

I massively hope I am wrong, but so many signs point to a planned slowdown of US deliveries until start of the next quarter. I plan on calling Tesla tomorrow about it tomorrow, because if they are going to not deliver any vehicles until 1 July, and start AWD next week, I want to change my config.

We configured on the same day (I went with white/aero) and I'm nearby in MD, but I still don't even have a VIN. Starting to wonder if Tesla is going to massively delay NA shipments until 1 July.
