Quick question: my ISA contacted me on Monday and I noticed this morning (Thursday) that my account was now ready for final payment. Anyone have insight on what this means as far as delivery date (if anything)? Thanks!

There are too many variables in your specific situation for us to guess at your delivery date. Email your ISA; mine gave me a 2 day window of when I will be taking delivery if I fully fund my purchase price by a certain date (Texas rule).

On that payment screen, isn’t there a delivery date and place shown on the right side?

I did email my ISA but haven't heard back from her since the intial reach-out on Monday. I'm not sure Maryland has an equivalent rule, but to address the variables, it is literally that my screen went from having everything checked off and showing that someone will reach out to me to schedule a delivery date, to this morning it giving me the final price and an option to pay for it online. Again, delivery date section on the right still shows "We will reach out to you to schedule your delivery date."

I just wanted to know if anyone else had experienced this, so I knew if it was normal and could still be weeks before delivery. I am curious if my account being updated to ask for payment might indicate that when I get a delivery date, it will be Soon(TM). Thanks again for any insight!

In case anyone is curious, I received my delivery date today! June 11th. This is a datapoint of one, so I'm not sure if it is related to the final payment info showing up in my account. However, if you see it, hopefully you get word on a delivery date shortly thereafter!

In my case, my Loan Specialist email that the load had been completed and then the Delivery Specialist reached out with options for delivery. Also, he mentioned that I would need a check or EFT to pay my leftovers. I ask about where, he said that my account will be enabled for final payment about a week before delivery.

my delivery date is in two weeks. No option to pay a deposit yet.

I paid all cash for mine, when they set up the delivery appointment, I was told the option to pay would be up 48 hours before the appointment time although it showed up 5 days beforehand (my delivery was the Tuesday morning after Memorial Day so not sure if the long three day weekend moved the option up.)

when is your delivery date?

I’ve had the car for a couple weeks.

A few days before the appointment, I got word that I could get the car early if I could arrange travel to the delivery center. Called back the next day saying a friend would fly me up the the neighboring General Aviation airport the next day after work. With this abbreviated cycle, I never saw payment info show up on-line, but received paperwork via email about 20 hours before the new appointment. With the last minute early delivery appointment, my situation likely wasn’t normal.

I’m really enjoying the car. Coming from a 2013 Leaf, the added range is really nice. I’m averaging about twice my normal weekly driving during this initial honeymoon period. :)

Noticed the change to include payment just after I received a call from Las Vegas that set up original delivery date. Since I was paying with cash I didn't finish the form. As it turns out, it took nearly two weeks to get the car from Joliet, IL, (railway drop point) to Westmont, IL, (the delivery center). I was concerned (getting a cashier's check) about the twice-delayed delivery date but on the last call for delivery appointment I asked about using a personal check (and having final bill emailed to me). That turned out to be okay - saved time and a few bucks.

Got my car about a month ago - really great! It's been fun to drive. And watch for the occasional stare as to what it is. I was extremely worried about fit & finish but only have one minor issue (charge port door not sitting flush) that I hope to get 'fixed' soon.
