    Very uncomfortable bottom seat cushion

Try changing your seating position, and believe it or not, lower your lumbar support. That may help.

Where is the Blind Spot Detection?

Then we have different information. All I know is that when I am in AP and I turn on my blinker, the car changes lane even though another car is in its blind spot. Give it a try.... (J/K... you would probably cause an accident).

Where is the Blind Spot Detection?

In AP version 9 we get “Drive on NAV” which does not do what it sounds like it should. It only recommends when you change lanes on a freeway. Big deal... How about a safety feature that Kia’s have but apparently is too complicated for Tesla to incorporate?... Blind spot detection. We all know...

Auto-park fail - manually stopped just in time

AutoPark is definitely a mixed bag. It works 80% of the time for me. On two occasions I had very strange results that could have resulted in collisions had I not been paying close attention. I live on a one-way residential street that has parallel parking on both sides. One night I was...

Teslas blocking EV spots and not charging in California

    Lease vs Buying (with numbers)

It all came down to this.... New D75.... Total cost after 3 years: Lease: $50,000 and no Asset value Purchase: $48,000 and own half the car.even if the car depreciates 50%, you will be ahead. Unless you can write off the lease as a business expense, leasing makes no sense.

Best insurance for Tesla Model S 2018

Just insured my new Model S with Costco for $1200 a year. California driver, clean record. These $2000+ quotes are insane!

    Wiki Model S Delivery Update

I was lucky. My car is a 75D non PUP, with AP, MS, Textile seats, and glass top. My salesperson found one with this config being built so he managed to steer it my way... Maybe someone cancelled... who knows?

    EAP Class Action Settlement 7-26-18

You feel cheated? Be thankful your car did not run into a truck. EAP will never be approved by the DOT. Very few members of the general public trust it.

So I gave up on the Model 3... and bought a Model S

Picking up my S on Monday. It was three weeks since I ordered it. My salesperson found the exact config I wanted assigned to a dealer in the northeast and hijacked it off the line. That’s why it was so fast! So I know that there have been several quality control issues on deliveries of the...

Did Tesla just kill the Model S 75D?

You really can't judge until you are in the same room as the two cars. I had ordered a 3 and then visited a local Tesla showroom. There was n S sitting right next to the 3. No comparison! The S looked sleek, designed, and downright beautiful next to the 3. The 3 looked like.,.. well... it...

So I gave up on the Model 3... and bought a Model S

So I came to my senses. Although the Model 3 is a very cool and advanced automobile, I could not resist the allure of that huge and beautiful Model S sitting next to a Model 3 in the showroom. Not only is a Model S a stunning car (with its new front end), but it has double the cargo room and...

The Model 3 is Too Long!

I am going with the suggestion to cut out a "window" in the front garage wall. I only need 3 inches and that will give me 4! The problem with leaving the garage door open is unwelcome "guests" camping out in the garage.

Should I get a 2 year old reservation for model 3 for a $500 premium or just create new reservation

It now seems obvious that the date of the original reservation now means nothing in the order they are delivering cars. If Tesla wants to maximize their income, they should only care about people who are paying cash, no trade ins, and are closest to the Fremont factory or other distribution...

Should I get a 2 year old reservation for model 3 for a $500 premium or just create new reservation

There is no indication that anyone who configured with get their AWD before the end of the year. I configured on 6/28 and still no word... and I am buying TWO Teslas! I was also told by Tesla that you cannot transfer a reservation or order (my brother wanted to do this). You would have to...

The Model 3 is Too Long!

"Beach house in Long Beach means it was built probably in the 20's or 30's when most cars were shorter." BINGO!

The Model 3 is Too Long!

Thank you ALL for your great suggestions! This has made my 4th of July quite humorous! Yes, I have a 2011 BMW 328 convertible which is 181.9 inches long. My garage is 182.75 inches long. I need approximately 3 more inches for my Model 3. Only 3 more inches and everyone is happy!

The Model 3 is Too Long!

I think the best and most economical solution would be to cut an opening in the wall, frame it like a window, and hope that I don't travel an inch too far into where my guest is sleeping. Good thing its a silent car with no motor noise.

The Model 3 is Too Long!

I am thinking if there was some way to extend the garage door side.... But thanks for all your suggestions. Once I take delivery of the car I will just keep the garage door open until I can get a good contractor to give me an estimate.

The Model 3 is Too Long!

"Ramps"... Interesting! But wouldn't the gas flow to the back of the car and out the gas tank?

I wonder if Summons would be helpful in this application.

The Model 3 is Too Long!

I own a house in a beach community of Southern California and my garage is 182 inches deep! My BMW 328 just fits in the garage (I have a foam pad attached to the wall so that I can creep up and touch it knowing that my car has reached the proper position.) The garage door will clear the rear...
