I had some issues with the last update. I was trying to initiate the software update via the Tesla mobile app but continued to fail. I think it was due to sentry mode being enabled. I disabled it directly from the car and initiated the then update from the car and it worked.

I have a new Model S (MCU 2) and the browser only works intermittently. I'll have a LTE connection and it will sit there with a black screen when I type in a known URL. Works sometime, sometimes not.

Good luck, Tesla told me they would reimburse me for travel expenses to pick up my Model S and they never did. With Tesla, you have to get everything taken care of prior to delivery or you won't see it. Hopefully, they will make it right for you.

My Model S hasn't upgraded yet to v9 and I was bummin' until I read this thread and others slamming it. Now I'm not sure I will upgrade as I really like having the two screens and don't use nav unless I'm on a road trip.
