Wanted to bump this thread. I’m seriously considering stealth wrap, but I don’t want to do ceramic coating. Wondering for all those that got stealth wrap. How has the maintenance been? Does it stain easily?

In my case, I traded in a few weeks after I renewed/tabs became active. So definitely donated a nice fee/tax...

I’ve test driven the Audi etron. It’s fun. Only problem is taking it on road trips. Audi does offer that you can loan an ICE vehicle for road trips while they hold your etron. Haha.

Does anyone happen to know first hand if the Model 3 floor mats fit in the Model Y?

I would get any issues resolved before PPF. As long as you don't take any long road trips or go to areas that rocks can chip your car.

Initially approved with Wells Fargo (through Tesla) for 2.49% @ 72 months. I emailed and was given 2.19% with Chase for 72 months.

3M guys will say XPEL will yellow. XPEL guys will say 3M will yellow. Learned that much while calling around yesterday. Also 3M seems to be cheaper. I personally am choosing XPEL because I have that on my other car and like it.

Curious to know if this is a single instance or multiple people have this issue. Yeah I think problems like this or the roof flying off are huge quality issues, but I don’t base those one off issues as a problem for the overall quality of the MY.

Just wanting clarification... is RTA tax based on base pricing or configured pricing? In other words, without or with the options/software.

Yes. When I ordered my M3, it said ~4-6 weeks. I got it in 11 days.

I got some noticable curb rash yesterday after trying to correct autopark on my M3. It was so close to the curb. Does anyone have recommendations and pricing for rim repair in or around Bellevue, WA?

Do your guys puddle lights seem dim IRL? I put in Abstract Ocean "T" lights and it is nothing compared to the brightness that my wife's Audi has.

Looks good but personally not a fan of the bumpy or ribbed look...

I just got frontal paint protection film because the whole front is a magnet for debris that may cause damage over time. That was more of a personal preference rather than thinking of resale value. I don't really believe ceramic coating is worth it at all. Save the money and just wash the car...

The interior front panel on the a-pillar is not aligned with a noticeable gap between windshield and pillar. Also the rubber seal around the door is bulging out which I believe is going to be just glued back.

The paint issues are very superficial. I am sure they will just buff it out. He did mention that it will probably go to the body shop to re-align a door and some interior panels. As for an ETA of all the work will get done, he gave me a 3-5 day timeline.

Dropped off my M3 at the Bellevue SC today. Super nice guy who helped me. Hoping they get my car back to me sooner than later and all issues addressed. I did get a Model S P90D as a loaner :cool:. I guess I can play with ludicrous for a bit to hold me over.

Anyone had experience with door realignment and panel gap fixes at the Bellevue SC (specifically for a Model 3)? Wondering how they will take to fix those issues and how responsive they are.

Oh! and I forgot to add..... EAP wasn't enabled on my car. I had to call customer support. They are supposed to enable OTA in 2-3 days... I'm not holding my breath though.

Picked up my car last Saturday morning (9/1). Apparently, we had a group "orientation" as the DA went over the Model 3 in the showroom. Then we had to wait for a little as they got our cars ready. Once the cars were ready, they let us in the area and just let us go over our cars as they stood by...

I didn't ask. Haha. I just figured getting it on 9/1 (Saturday) is a better option than trying to find a time after work during the week. The IDA also offered me 8/31.

Taking delivery at Tesla Bellevue, WA. Actually got called this morning. They had to reschedule to 9/1 which is fine.

I was a day 1 reserver as well and ordered on 8/10. Estimated delivery for me is between Oct - Dec. I did get an email from an Owner Advisor on 8/14 though basically to congratulate me for my order and Next steps. Haven't heard anything since.

That would be amazing! Although I did just order on 8/10 and did AWD. Here's to hoping that being a day one reservation holder counts for something. Heh.
