I’m only 5’ 10. But I easily fit my road bike, my 29er mountain bike, or my 26” wheel fat bike inside with the rear seat folded and the front wheel off. The mountain bikes require a little maneuvering. If I was any taller it could be a problem but could also use the dropper on my MTB I suppose.

My 29er fits with front wheel off. I’m about 5’10. It’s a tight fit with the seat though. If you are taller I could see it being a problem. Not sure if angling it would buy you a few extra inches to make it fit.

The Safelite invoice I received was paid by insurance directly but showed ~$700 for the glass. $175 for labor. IIRC.

That wheel is aluminum so that rust ring is coming from the car’s hub I would presume. I don’t think it’s anything to worry about. Moisture is going to get there and lead to some surface corrosion. I’ve never seen a plastic surface used to mitigate this but could be wrong.

I found a few missing when I swapped to winter wheels and tires. I had a box of these clips as my Subaru shed a few here and there over the course of the last 100k or so. Found a size that fit and popped them in.

I have x-ices on my Subaru Outback and have R3s on my M3. The R3s seem noticeably noisier. Whether the cars are a factor or just the tires is up for debate. However I have no regrets. The R3s are amazing but the x-ices have also been great.

Nothing scientific but over the years I’ve tried going with as small of a wheel diameter as possible to maximize sidewall height on my winter tires. Minneapolis streets start to look like the moon in winter and I think that side wall height helps.

This is a confirmed story? I hadn’t heard this but still find it odd that we get cars filled with all of sorts of complex components where the vendors were fine with the terms but the stick on spoiler and plastic badge vendors were the two that rebelled.

I find it surprising that they have a supply chain that supplies all sorts of things but plastic badges and a stick on spoiler have unknown delivery times. There has to be more to this story.
