Sto N Sho saves the day

Not in the way you’d think.

I just installed Sto N Show last night.

Before leaving for work I thought I’d better put the front plate on now that I’ve gone through the trouble of installing the bracket.

Normal drive to work on the highway.

Several cars in front start slowing, weaving, dodging.

I slow but not abruptly as I’ve had a tailgater for the last few miles so don’t want to get rear ended.

There are pieces of a pallet scattered on the road. Cars hitting pieces. Pieces flying.

I manage to dodge all of the stuff on the ground and seemingly make it through the aerial debris until one piece gets kicked into air from the middle lane.

Not much I can do.

It hits with a thud.

I’m hoping the PPF helps and just hoping for the best the rest of the trip to work.

Get to work and I’m checking where I thought it hit then notice the corner of the license plate is bent down with an impact mark.

No other damage to the front of the car.

Nice. I was hoping my OEM front plate could have saved my car from a plastic box someone dropped on the freeway, but nope. Fortunately, it was just minor scrapes and dings that I will just live with. I guess I should have gotten the Sto N Go huh?
