From my experience it is a rather poor system, not sure how people are praising it. My 2015 Corvette and my 2018 Pacifica system sounded MUCH better. The bass is especially horrible in my Tesla (and I have 2 model 3s).

I have AWD & performance, but I wouldn’t say the difference is HUGE. There is a difference, but I wouldn’t say one is going to blow you away over the other. I mean, they both have the same motors, right? ;)

There are several examples of them upgrading the software to Performance and they seem to perform like they should. I have white carbon on my white car with white seats and black carbon on my red with black seats. The black went on no problems. I’m on my second cup holder wrap on the white.

Ordered gloss with my red car and matte for my white one. I figured the wheels are more matte on the Aeros, so I think it’ll match better. Also trying to vary my cars a little bit.

Yeah 700 is a bit much for the spoiler, especially since it’s like 3 times the cost of RPM Tesla’s and IMO doesn’t look as good.

I received mine in less than a week. Tesla seems to make Performance models happen. I believe they might screw AWD people out of theirs to make P3Ds happen too.

The regular Performance doesn’t come with red calipers and larger discs. Only the Performance model with the Performance upgrade package does.

I bought a spoiler and vinyl console wrap and it came quickly and installed perfect. No complaints. I will probably buy a second one for my other Model 3.

Called Tesla today and mentioned it and the guy on the phone confirmed it’s a software upgrade from LR AWD to Performance.

Very interesting, I guess this is further proof it’s a software upgrade than a hardware one.

Same thing happened to me. Calll them and they will fix it in a couple of days. What’s sad is it took them like a week to fix it, but on my second Tesla, I paid for it after I purchased the vehicle and it unlocked that night.

i just recently bought a Tesla P3D and just found the window sticker in the back and it’s configured for a regular dual motor awd. The price and everything matches up to that type of car. I even checked to make sure the Vins match and sure enough they do. I suppose it’s possible the sheet is...

I think 45 for top/back is fine, but I’d personally do around 20-25 on the sides. From my experience, 35 is way too light. I have 20ish on my Vette and haven’t ran into any problems. Some counties will measure the tint during inspections but Stafford doesn’t and I don’t think Prince William does...

They act like the VIN is a big deal, they wouldn’t give it to me the day they called, but my MVPA had it the next day. The VIN on my checklist is still not marked. Just give people the VIN Tesla, sheesh.

Good tips Paik. I have mine ready to go for when m car arrives next week. I definitely hear carbon fiber pieces rattling around, so I’ll have to try your vacuum method. I also bought some silicone sealant for the edges.

The clay was actually getting stuck in places that had film from the factory. There wasn’t many contaminants on it either. As far as time, you have to go over the whole car which does take time. I mean, it’s as easy as adding the ceramic, but with all the steps, you end up going over the car...

I just ceramic coated my vette. It was pretty easy but spent like 8 hours on it. I can’t see paying someone 1k for it.

Wouldn’t it just be easier to mark the center of the spoiler and match it up with the Tesla emblem?

If it bothers you, then get it fixed. I don’t think it’s that bad. If it was on my van, I wouldn’t care. It would bother me on my Vette.

I’m not personally a fan of the aero wheels. I’m not going to pay 60k for a car that has hub caps. Also not crazy about the look with them off. That’s how I feel, you may be different.
