I’m so pissed. They called saying that upon final inspection the car is undeliverable less than 2 hours before my delivery. An issue with the battery. And that it’ll be faster for them to rematch me with a new car than trying to fix this one. so now no delivery, no car, and now I have to wait...

Is the local delivery center supposed to reach out to you confirming delivery before you pick up your car? I have a delivery scheduled tomorrow at 8pm. I have a VIN and MVPA, but I haven't heard from the local delivery center that my car is there. Do they always reach out? If so, when?

I called my local SC after my VIN disappeared last night for my 10/2 delivery. They said that’s normal and that I am still on track for 10/2. Not sure if I entirely trust that but I hope it’s true.

Accountant here. Tesla will report the cash received before delivery of a car as unearned revenue (a liability on the balance sheet). Yes their cash will increase but equally will their liabilities increase. It will have no effect on their net income until delivery.

How do you see your VIN # without an MVPA? I still don’t have mine yet.

Looks like EAP is the culprit. Once i edited my configuration on 9/17 to add EAP my edit button disappeared and I got a delivery date.

They are desperate to deliver cars prior to 9/30. They called me today offering a delivery date of 9/29. However, I cannot take delivery prior to 10/2 for various reasons, but they said they are not currently scheduling for October. So here I am waiting for a call again to schedule for October...

My edit button disappeared two days ago, and I was asked for final loan details, but I still haven't received a delivery date. I ordered non-p AWD on September 10.

It still says “Estimated delivery: Nov. '18 - Jan. '19 We will reach out to you to schedule your delivery date. Delivery time frame will be based on reservation date, order date, delivery location and vehicle configuration.”

Last night my account changed to ask me for my final loan details. Today I entered in the information and confirmed all my other previously entered information. Now my account page says "Next Steps - we are drafting up your contract and will contact you when you can make your final payment."...

Do you have EAP? I just added it last night which might be part of it.

I'm a part of this group. I ordered an AWD non-p MSM, 18" wheels, black interior, no EAP/FSD Model 3 on September 10th. Estimated delivery Nov 2018-Jan 2019. I'm really hoping to take delivery this year for the tax credit!

Yes they did! I feel super lucky now that I placed my order this morning at $54,000 for the AWD model :)

I just placed an order today, no reservation for a AWD non-p Model 3. My estimated delivery is between Nov '18 and Jan '19. What do you guys think the odds are getting delivery this year?
