What mfg did you purchase your carbon fiber accents/covers from and are you happy with the quality?

Got my date from Tesla store at Kierland in Scottsdale. Not that it's any more trustworthy than another Tesla employee looking at the same system probably. I'm ok if it pushes a few weeks or even into Dec.

Well... my MYLR I ordered in early Aug was pushed out from Dec to late Jan 2022 a few weeks ago. I contemplated changing my order to MYP and did so about a week and a half ago. My EDD jumped to Nov 1-30. Went to Tesla and projected EDD is Nov 15. Delivery at Westgate. Can't wait!!!

Anyone else with an August order that was predicted mid-Dec for MYLR that just was updated to January? Est is Jan 1 - Jan 29 now. Ugh!!!

I was told over the weekend, by a very experienced tint company, that the new Y's now have ceramic on the roof so don't waste the money. Can anyone else confirm that's the case.

If you don't mind asking about details... 1. PPF - entire hood and fenders? 2. Was the window tint ceramic? 3. What was the total cost?

Thanks for the details SaiD. I wonder how long it will be before Arizona stops the "blue plate" program for EV's.

UPDATE: Tesla website now simply states "January" and that they will contact me later about a DD. This combined with possible, new AZ state license fees, may make me move to a MYP with 4-6 week delivery.

Can you point to where this is documented on an AZ state site? This may compel me to change to a MYP for sure - as my delivery date simply now says "January".

Great thread. Thx. I'm glad I removed my trade-in from the mix. Then instantly got my VIN and EDD. I think Carvana is the way to go. Had a good friend sell to Carvana and he said it was a very simple transaction and pick up of his vehicle.

Ordered MYLR on Aug 21 - Black, 20" Induction Wheels, White Interior, No FSD. EDD is Dec 10 - Jan 9. I was surprised! I'm sure this will change though.

That data is completely incorrect. I've got a 2018 Leaf SV which I've had in triple digits on the speedo. *At the race track of course. ;-) For the money it's not a bad A-to-B commuter and the autopilot works extremely well. Having said that I put in an order for the Tesla MY. Way better...

Who's kit? Are there options? A few 'bits' look a little too much for me. But love the lower rear diffuser, side skirts and front lip.
