    FSD Beta 10.69

Is anyone that has FSD beta incredibly disappointed with it? It gives you a violation and stops working with literally no warning. No sound nor visual cue. It seems like you have to exert way too much force on the steering wheels when prompted to, often taking it out of autopilot. It spends...

    Is my circuit breaker old/faulty?

I have to ask, which part makes the electrician an idiot? The 6-3? The NM? Or the “existing” conduit vs new conduit?… what exactly?

Portable Solar Trickle Charge for Camping

I’d like to know how to tell the charger In The model 3 to accept DC instead of AC power. Are the connector specs and communication protocol available anywhere?

    Garage door opener antenna

That is PRECISELY why I asked the question. Mine dangles nicely vertically from the opener.

    Garage door opener antenna

Does anyone know details of the antenna used in the model 3 for opening/closing the garage door? I think it is on the driver’s side, but I was wondering its orientation and, thus, Polarization. Any details would be appreciated— model specifications would be awesome as well. kurt

    Screen Changes with New Update

Would it kill them to make the "lights icon" touchable so that it turns off the lights without having to dig through the menu? Something like that seems like it would be an easy thing to accomplish.

Colorado Springs Service Center - 1323 Motor City Drive

I just had an appointment in Littleton and they suggested waiting until late November. I doubt they'll put me here though. I'm interested a grand-opening though.

    Weird charging cycle

Yes the saw tooth nature of the graph. I don't think it has anything to do with nighttime.

    SpaceX Internet Satellite Network: Starlink

I suspect (and will bet) none of the satellites have propulsion, but might have little wings to INCREASE drag to control descent.

2020.8.1 Raven X and no exFAT TeslaCam :(

I can’t believe they dropped ext4, but you’re right, my ext4 stopped working with the new SW release! Did you see this announced somewhere?

    Sentry and Tesla Cam

I've also been experimenting with the "-T" option which sets inode per file size... , so I added a "-T largefile4."

    Weird charging cycle

My recent cycle was going on and off recently. Has anyone else seen this? See image.

    Sentry and Tesla Cam

It's not just the size, it's the speed. I think I finally fixed it by using a high speed drive, formatting it with Linux ext4. That's not enough though. You must use larger sector sizes and possibly right dir permissions. I've been running for a few days now with no error. I used the following...

    Sentry and Tesla Cam

I have the same problem. I bought a high speed 128 GB drive (supersonic rage 2). I formatted in multiple formats, the latest ext4. It works for maybe a day or two, and then the icon disappears.... And I can't even read the drive when I pull it out and insert or on my computer. It is totally...

    Firmware 12.1.1

Darn, I was hoping that they would fix this!

Review of RWD M3 after Chicago-Breckenridge round trip

I have the same issue "Popping in floor board while supercharging in cold weather got a little worse after 10-20 hours of consecutive driving. Towards the end of this trip the floor was popping every time we charged..." when I drive in extreme cold. I actually had the bottom of the driver's...

    Steering wheel damage

The funny thing is that I used to read the manual when it was printed out for all 16 of my previous cars. But when it's only in electronic form, it's hard to bring it with you to read on the toilet. But, you know, keep thinking you're better than everyone else.

    Steering wheel damage

Forget it. I found it in the owners manual on page 39. Chalk that damage up to Tesla's 15 minute delivery. I'm kind of pissed off that it had that feature, but I didn't know about it and now I have a damaged steering wheel.

    Steering wheel damage

Can you lead me through that? I do not see that option at all in the Model 3 profile settings. Do you have any pictures or anything of that?

    Steering wheel damage

Well, with winter approaching, and wearing jackets with zippers, I've managed to damage my steering wheel. Anyone submit an "autorise" option on the steering wheel as a feature request? It would be nice to rise when the car is put into park or the door is opened. I'm including a picture. I...

Miles per hour reading during charge

For as long as I could watch mine, it only got up to 28 MPH.

Miles per hour reading during charge

Nope, it's one or the other. He was right, I had to go to the "DISPLAY" setting and change it from energy to miles. The other interesting thing is that it doesn't deliver the promised 30 mi/hr charge rate on my 50 A 240 V circuit. It has only reached a max of 27 mi/hr.

Miles per hour reading during charge

Where's the setting to change the battery symbol to distance instead of percent?

Miles per hour reading during charge

I went to a supercharge station with my model 3 and the car readout showed a charge rate of miles per hour. But when I charge at home, I do not get the same read out. Am I imagining this? If not, how do I get the same home charger readout to be the same as at the supercharger station?
