I do see an improvement in range, as noted above, now I'm getting 315 miles @ 100% compared to 300 miles before.

Update: received message saying my car is done and ready for pick up. I’m impressed, was expecting 4 or more weeks. They fixed it in 4 days, yay! Battery @ 100% is now 315 miles compared to 300 miles before the HV battery replacement. I’m very happy with the result.

My range @ 100% is 300 miles and they haven't given me an explanation yet. Was told I can get a loaner car since the repair will take a while.

Just received a message from Tesla, looks like I’ll be getting a replacement battery.

Was on the phone with Tesla support yesterday and was told that the 12V looks normal from their end. I have an appointment this Thursday at the El Camino service center. Hopefully, it’s a HV battery component issue for warranty work. Will update as soon as I find out.

Thanks for your reply. I've done the two finger reboot several times without any luck. I know how to do 2, but not 3. Are you able to give me more info on reinstalling the software via service menu?

Anyone know what’s going on? I updated my vehicle software last night and there are a bunch of errors this morning. Too many to list, picture attached. No longer in warranty and will get it towed tomorrow to a service center. 2019 Model X

Yes sir! Will clean but what can I clean with? No sudden drop in range after FW update. Still have 200 miles with 90% SOC. That was my fear that’s why I was hesitant to update FW until my supercharging issue.

Update: Supercharging works now. Updated FW Monday night from 2019.12.1.1 to 2019.28.2.5. Been supercharging the last 3 days without a problem. I guess 2019.12.1.1 is the problem? But it worked fine for months on that FW before last Saturday. Oh well, I sure hope that supercharging problem...

My plastic guide is still there, worn at the tip, but still there. I attempted to supercharge at another supercharger tonight with the same problem. After a reboot of the MCU, it started to charge. I then unplugged then plugged the charging cable back in & it didn't work again. Now it's not...

Had a similar problem with my 2015 MS 70D. Thought I needed a new MCU, but Tesla was able to resolve it over the air. I think they cleared some memory files & updated my software. IMO regarding risks, I don't think there's any to the car itself or the driver/passengers. Just an annoying...

I had the same problem with my MCU a few months ago. Was on ver 8.1 with constant boot up cycle. Thought I was going to need a new MCU. Called Tesla and a tech was able to log in to my car & cleared corrupted memory files. Updated my car to new software ver 9 & everything is all good now.

Update: Yesterday, I was on the phone with Tesla service to see if they're able to reset & push a firmware update OTA. Was told that they can't cause a firmware download corrupted something about two months ago. Weird, I don't remember confirming any update & the MCU worked ok until it froze...

So I tried pulling the fuse and also disconnecting the 12V with no luck. Was told to disconnect the orange HV wire too but had a hard time reaching it. Will try again next week. Also noticed a wire to the right of the 12V, looks like something chewed on it. Mouse? Anyone know what wire is that...

No USB drive plugged in. Just an Apple lightning cable with no phone attached.

I've got a 2015 MS 70D & the touchscreen froze on me yesterday. I did the scroll wheel reset but didn't work. Also tried the reset by pressing firmly on the brake & holding the scroll wheel for 45sec with no luck. MCU is in a constant boot up loop. It'll boot up to the Tesla logo screen then...

I ended up fixing it myself. Noticed that some areas around the pano roof rubber seal wasn’t quite right. Had to hand adjust the rubber seal while closing the roof so it can seat correctly. Now all is well.

I recently bought a used Tesla MS from an auction & it took a total of 5 working days for Tesla to transfer over ownership to me. All you have to do is email Tesla all the required info & just go enjoy your car.
