i think it started for the S but they realized it wont work since the refreshed S (i have a plaid s also) is wider than the older one but the X is not so the x guys hijacked it haha

i do believe that both have park lights with your findings do you think its possible to make some sort of jumper harness that would distribute the signals needed to the proper parts?

i know this is an s forum but most of these comments are referring to the model x as the s will not work the refreshed is a good amount wider than the 2020 and older

thers markings on the inside of the bumper a circle with an x in it thats where they go, and u just use the holder from the old bumper and glue to the new and you are good to go

attached is the 2018 and 2023 wire harness diagrams, any mad scientist in here able to see how we can get the fogs working?

so i have no idea what im looking at but i am sure someone here will attached is supposedly the 2 wire schematics for a 2018 model x fogs and the 2023 model x so the harness pins and everything can anyone figure this out and see a way to re pin the harness to work with the refresh fogs?

hey can u show a pic of when u meant with this one? 1) The hardest part for this bumper to fit perfectly is to cut old center top edges hole clips from old then plastic weld them to the new bumper.

i did the same exact as the guy had posted worked like a charm here the part we cut and a whole shot of my x

yea this thing must of been light hit on rear driver paintwork was garbage trying to get it all together swapping the front and rear bumper then ill get it all painted proper

no one has been able to find any sort of rubber moulding or seal that could work?

looking at the 2 the old housing is so much bigger than the new one might be a hard swap

this is great ty man just a question like next to the fog brackets u have a few part numbers are those just different variations of each part and we can use any of the 3 numbers?

hi any chance u can post a pic of what needs to be modified and how. also the brackets u ordered were for a 2023 im assuming? and did u need them for both front and rear bumper? thanks so much for taking the tiime !

so looking at the pic it looks like u can use the rearest(i know its not a word lol ) most part of the 2023 and the more fwd part from the 2018?

dam i just got my oem bumper this past weekend lol ill be trying the retrofit also

maybe if you repin the connector. maybe they are not lining up to the proper light and if u swap the pins it may fix it id check both schematics maybe and see what each pin does in each car
