What type of tires for that set up? because the current Michelin’s on the stock 235/45R18s (aero wheels - 18x8.5) are rated for ‘Extra Load’, I assume due to the car’s substantial battery laden weight. Are there good amount of decent 225 all season tires (18x7.5) with the same rating available?

Still running on the stock OEM all seasons (have the base ‘aero’ rims) and so far holding up well in the first winter out here in the mid-Atlantic. Based on my miles, should be time for replacement tires close to next winter, so if timing is right, I may switch out to solid winter tires on the...

If I had space to store all four tires yearlong, would also have gotten a decent set of winter tires for my LR RWD Model 3

My first real winter with my Model 3; one thing I noticed is that the cabin heats up REAL fast compared to ICE vehicles

Leaning towards my first winter in northern Virginia with the stock all seasons on my ‘18 Long Range RWD Model 3. With the inherent weight/center of gravity, and overall driving dynamics w/ advanced traction control, feeling rather confident... for now.

..what’s the main advantage for this?

Got the 14-50 I installed today w a 240 oulet, on a 50A breaker, & using the stock mobile charger with the 240v adapter. Already seeing MUCH greater charging speeds from the old 120v outlet, as posted here...

What's the consensus, is it overall a better value to just get completely separate rims/tire set for summer and winter, or just switch out tires on the stock rims every year? Taking into account tire balancing, etc.?

Anyone have a photo of a 6-50 (240v) outlet? This might be the one in a relative's garage.

..actually, got all the info. Going to set up for 50A max circuit on 6 AWG wiring, opening for option to install a dedicated wall charger later on. For now, just planning on using the mobile charger that came w the car, has the NEMA 14-50 adapter.

I’ve got an electrician coming in this week (have to revamp the entire circuit breaker anyway), and will be installing a dedicated 14-50 for the car in the garage. Plan on just using the provider mobile charger for now. So, from what I’m reading, I should expect 32A max, even though it should...

Living in northern Virginia now, will be going thru my first winter out here.. never had winter tires before, and given the climate out here, how essential are they?

Would prefer a CCS adapter, would be much less cumbersome, if that should ever come out. I know in Europe, Model 3’s use that standard.

Sometimes, after coming home following a super charger, I end up with a few additional miles of range after letting the car sit in the driveway for a while. Attributing that to rounding errors in the onboard range calculator.

My mistake, was thinking of a FPS for Fallout Shelter, realized it was a simple interface RPG... but would be interested if we could get an emulator to play decent quality version of top tier shooter games

Does the infotainment system as it stands now even have the technical capability to play even the mobile version of a game like Fallout Shelter? I know 80’s era Atari games aren’t a problem, but just the base graphics and processor required for even a mobile device game these days are light...

Just used my first supercharging since getting the 5,000 miles bonus. Charged up from 60% to 95% this morning. However, checking my ‘Loot’ Box on the app, still reflects a full 5,000 miles of range still remaining.

I saw that exact same screen shot on my Tesla app, but I assumed that is was general advertising about the 5,000 mile bonus. But, in actuality, that's the actual number of free supercharging miles I have left?

Just clarifying on how this 5,000 miles of free supercharging works... it’s based on how many miles or range you charge up to at each session, until you reach a cumulative 5,000 miles of charging, correct?

Seeing more of these CCS ‘fast’ charging stations out here as well, particularly Electrify America chargers. Would come in handy in the future, wondering if they would soon become on line.

I noticed on the last prior major update that my range increased... Before the update started, I had 264 miles of range. 25 minutes later after the software update finished, showed 274 miles total. Similar experiences?

Thanks... also, how does Amazon Alexa integrate into Tesla Fi? I actively use Alexa at home and on my devices, former Ford car had it as well. Works with the stock Tesla Infotainment system on the Model 3?

Started finding about this Tesla Fi API... any significant updates or features since the last post? I see you can get 2 months free if subscribing for an entire year now.
