Do you have a rwd or LR? The LR has a small amp that feeds moderate power to the speakers, not sure if the rwd do.

Does anyone else’s wipers go to max speed when you go in reverse after driving in rain? Even without rain while going in reverse, the wipers go crazy. This has been happening for years now hoping software update would fix it, but this never went away. Otherwise, the auto wipers works great.

Just upgraded my se to series 9. None of the Siri commands work on the watch. When I ask it to open trunk, it says “you’ll need to download an app for that”. I have the shortcuts added to the watch and I can manually click the shortcuts and they work. Any ideas?

Koni red/yellow shocks have released. Pair them with some springs and you’re good. Good option if you don’t need the height adjustability.

Koni yellows are great with some mild springs. I had them in my previous cars decades ago.

While attempting to re-install the dash speaker grill, a couple of metal clips piped out and lodged itself behind the driver side hvac vent. Will removing the dash piece give access to remove the clips? Or is that a different part that needs to be removed?

Dropped 3 metal clips as well while trying to re-install the speaker grill. I left it for now since I was tired of fighting the grill. Haven’t noticed them rattling yet but will redo and hunt them down if it starts to.

Getting some inner tire wear on the fronts and rears. I have a mild drop on mpp coils, about 1.25-1.5. Alignment shows that I’m pretty much in spec all around. Does anything look off?

The mpp bushing is universal. Just wasn’t sure if there were disadvantages in purchasing rwd control arms as I found a set locally I can use.

I have an 18M3P. Will the lower control arms (not the compression arm) from an 18LR rwd fit? Has there been revisions on this part? I can only find the same part number 104434100-D so I’m assuming the lca is universal? I’m planning on getting some Mpp bushings and wanted to press them in ahead...

Are awd and rwd lower control arms interchangeable? I found a set of lca’s from an 18LR rwd and would like to minimize downtime during install and get them pressed in from a shop beforehand.

Any suggestions for matte lug nuts for the 20” performance stilettos? I’m running them exposed without the cap. Would be nice if there’s a locking nut on each wheel also.

Btw butyl doesn’t do much for sound blocking. It just prevents resonance. You need MLV if you want sound blocking

You can also unzip the rear seat and apply foam tape on the plastic cover. That cover is the most useless thing ever that causes noises.

There’s a hole near the latch. Stuff some thick foam tape in there. It should secure it. However, that might not the source of the rattle. I secured it and I’m still having some seat rattles.

Do you guys have this gap between the rear seat bench and back support? The 4 metal hooks are a little exposed.

A lot of cars have this gap. This is one of the reasons why the rear bumper gets filled with rocks and dirt inside from driving. So stupid not to have a clip there.

I actually notice the same thing for my alignments. The driver left is always a full degree off compared to the right even though they’re equal heights. Good to know.
