What year, model is your tesla? Are you saying side cameras are upgraded too?

So for tesla with HW2.5, FSD purchase(not subscription) would only upgrade to HW3.0 for free, but no side camera upgrades?

I have HW2.5 on my 2018 M3LR, so I assume they will upgrade to HW3.0? And yeah, i am not 100% counting on Tesla to allow FSD transfer to a new car purchase, but I will take my chance while enjoying FSD when I already paid 5k for EAP in 2018..

I am also thinking about upgrading to FSD for $2,000 for my 2018 M3 with EAP. Main reason for me is that, I want FSD to be transferred to a new car purchase when they allow it again. Currently, side cameras have light bleed, would the FSD upgrade include newer camera replacements too?

I still look over the shoulder… Besides, it just works better for me to see relative distance between cars, especially in night time.

Possibly, but since its not at your fault, why dont you take it to tesla, or certified bodyshop for full diagnostics and repair? And, i am sorry to hear about that incident. It really sucks. A truck hit my rear bumper with the hitch while parked, and it was thanksgiving week… holiday spirit...

Possibly, or for recalibration, whatever helps at this point for me. My car kept drawing power for another hour after showing 100% charge on the app. So, hopely extra juice is calculated into range predictions.

With the full battery range reduced to 276miles after 63k miles, i tried 100% batrery charging. The battery meter shows 100% charged, but the car keeps drawing power for more than 30 minutes now. The remaining charge time has also remained same at 30 minutes. I called tesla service, says...
