I’m a little confused. What’s holding the clips onto the roof? Is it the glass or is there something else that the clip is supposed to clip onto?

Just out of curiosity, does anyone know if you can go through a car wash with the Tesla racks or do you need to take them off to do so?

Thanks EVnut. By concern is that the Yakima clips retract the foam liner enough to let water trickle is i it rains. I think I’ll wait for the OEM racks when they’re back in stock.
