AP makes it so relaxing to drive!!

I have EAP (Enhanced Autopilot) on my 2018 M3LR. I drive mostly on the highway, so absolutely LOVE it. I clap to the music coming from the 15 speakers and when it nags me, I just roll the volume wheel on the steering wheel up or up and down a bit. When I want to pass a car, I tap the signal pole...

    A mouse ate my Tesla

I store ALL food in plastic boxes in my shop. I have tin Altoid boxes that I poke holes in. I put a couple of cotton balls and put peppermint oil on them. I have them in my frunk, trunks, gloveboxes etc and all corners of my shop. And they stay away. I found a mouse in my Toyota glovebox a...

    Tesla App open door issue

Yep. I did not enable it, so it must have happened with the update a month ago. So I wrote to Tesla support and they said: "From your description, it sounds like you may have Driver Door Unlock Mode enabled, which you can read about here." I responded: "Yep. Seems that got enabled and nowhere...

    Tesla App open door issue

I am having the same problem with my Model 3LR. It started happening last month after a software update. I wonder if it has to do with the Safety Recall I got in the mail in November. It says: Certain model year 2021-2022 Model S and Model X, model year 2017-2022 Model 3 and model year 2020-2022...

MSLR - passenger doors opening question

After the 2022.44.0 update all of a sudden the passenger doors won't open from the outside. I have updated twice since then, rebooted etc. Nada. When I am in my 2018 M3LR, I used the voice command and it worked once. It has to be related to the automatic window reversal system recall notice I...

    Spotify problems?

I have the same issue and it is driving me nuts. I have a One Plus 7T and this started in the last couple of months. In the last couple of weeks when I play Spotify from my phone on my M3, it does not change the display name of the song. Keeps the very first one. I can fast forward, replay, etc...

    A mouse ate my Tesla

I had a mouse in my glove box so now use Altoid candy metal boxes with holes poked in the top and cotton balls soaked in peppermint oil. Works well. Use them in the glove box and trunks. Use them all around my house, shop and in my Highlander. And have traps with nut butter and a bit of dried...

Blog Tesla Cars to Sound Pedestrian Warning With ‘Snake Jazz’

Seriously!!! Have you EVER seen anyone walking or on a bike that does not have headphones or earbuds??? They never hear my awesome music blasting from my M3....so sad. What I think is we need to get rid of all these ridiculously noisy vehicles. What a world it would be to NOT have all that noise...

Germany Rules on Using Tesla Screen Wiper Controls

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! That scroll wheel is my FAVORITE thing in the entire car. It is to turn my music louder and stops the reminder to touch the steering wheel. I use it constantly EVEN when I don't have my music on full blast. I just roll up and then down. I live in Zigzag up on Mt. Hood and we...

    1 Year Review - 23,790 miles

I don't have to put ANY weight on my steering wheel OR grip it. I just roll the music louder and the warning goes away! If I don't want it full blast...not often...then I just roll the volume up and instantly down. Someone here told me that when I first got my M3LR. So easy!!

    1 Year Review - 23,790 miles

Good for you! I, too, have some physical issues that autopilot has mitigated. I WAS driving a total of 94 miles per day to and from work. I had a condition called "gas pedal knee". So much pain moving my foot back and forth from gas to brake. And I have osteoarthritis everywhere..worse in my...

I miss driving my Model 3

Oh, my! Under normal circumstances, I drive 47 miles each way to and from work. I haven't driven to work since March 12 as I now build for virtual file cabinets of note templates in our EMR at home. And I love being home in Zigzag, OR up on Mt. Hood. It is heaven!! But, I miss my car driving me...

Warning!!! Model 3 will make you immature (again)

I am older than you...I get sign up for Medicare calls every day!! I know those driving BMWs, Mustangs, Mercedes Benz, Porsches, Audis etc. think....MAYBE, I will look into getting a Tesla. I've had BMWs, a Porsche, Fiats and they just don't compare. Speed, maneuverability, Autopilot while...

Warning!!! Model 3 will make you immature (again)

The story of my life!! Picked up my M3 AWD on 12/1/18 and after driving it for 2 minutes, I understood why people want to race cars. I have NEVER had a speeding ticket and my first thought was....I better slow down or I am going to get a ticket. I can't help myself at stop lights. They hear my...

I think I just wasted $7,000 on FSD?

You DON'T have to have your hand on the wheel for Autosteer. I drive 47 miles to work and 47 miles back every day and am NOT on Autosteer and TACC for ONLY about 1 mile each way. I clap to the awesome music from the 14 speakers, sub-woofer and immersive sound the entire way. When it alerts me to...

Don't have a spouse, but am raising teenage grandchildren and IF I have to drive them somewhere it's OK with me. Passenger reactions to full acceleration

Seriously!!! I have had my Model 3 LR AWD for a year on December 1 last year. My son came with me to pick up the car. Within a half mile I was on a bridge entering the freeway. Application Logic Usability

Just got my update to v.2019.24.4. They mentioned the Application Launcher now includes Toy Box. I don't care! I want the phone icon closer to me. That's the one I use most! Teslas for Females - Practicality vs Fun?

I never test drove my Tesla. I put the $1000 down as soon as the option became available. And one of them had just bought...

Why Tesla 'has a problem appealing to women': Electric cars, Elon Musk may be off-putting I had to comment on this article!! Seriously!!! It is the most practical car I have ever purchased. Got Tired Of The EV Shuffle With Dealers And Bought A Tesla

Congrats! I retire in 6 years, 2 months and 23 days at age 70, so drive my car 47 miles to and from work everyday. And EVERYDAY I get to the parking structure near work and say OUT LOUD, "Can't I just stay in my car and listen to the music??!!" I can't help it!! 10,093 miles since Dec 1, 2018...

Premium Audio System Option for Standard Range Plus?

This is why I don't want to get out of my car in the morning when I get to work. Can't I just stay and listen to my Tesla Wow's Spotify playlist?? And supercharging is so fun. I sit in my car and search the top hits of the 1960's and 1970's and add them to that playlist. Did I say I LOVE...

I, too, am at the same point with 8,600 miles since I purchased my Model 3 Dual Motor AWD 6 months ago. I stop almost every weekday at the supercharger in Sandy, OR as it is on my way home. I drive 47 miles each way to and from work, plus have appointments for the grandkids I am raising and...

Another tragic fatality with a semi in Florida. This time a Model 3

Absolutely correct! We are beta-testing this feature. I am getting more comfortable with EAP and tried NoA for the first time this weekend. Had to go 102 miles each way, mostly on freeways. I DO NOT use EAP in town. I will use TACC, but ONLY in the places where the risk is lower. While going...

I agree. It makes me stay alert. With the latest software update they are much less often to a good interval. It allows me to clap to the awesome music coming from those 15 speakers! I couldn't agree more! Cars! I have helped with so many repairs, engine replacements, etc. I HATE driving! And I have to drive 47 miles to work and 47 miles back home. But, I don't drive my Model 3. It drives me while I am serenaded with those amazing 15 speakers. Every time I reach my...

Oregon EV Rebate turnaround time frame

Yep. I work right across the street from the office so I walked over and handed it to the receptionist on Tuesday, Jan 29 and got an email confirmation the next day it was being processed. I never applied for Phase 1 as I purchased mine Dec 1, so just followed the instructions on the website.

A very long and picky Model 3 review [from 2018, of a 2018 Model 3]

Nice review!! I have had my Model 3 for a month and here is what I think! I got my Tesla Model 3 on Dec 1 and am absolutely amazed! I am a 63 yr old grandma who built her own computers in the 1990's to get the performance she needed. And I root my phone, too. I LIKE control. I HATE driving and...
