My used 2015 70D had 21" slipstreams on it in the lot and I had them swap the 19" 5-spokes from another S they had. They were beautiful on the car, but I had read about range, cost, and susceptibility to potholes and decided to be somewhat practical. I do miss that look though!

My 2015 S does this too. I think it's funny how much wider and sporty other cars are in my rear window, then I see them in the side mirror and they're back to being ugly again!

Mine started on 2015 S a month or so ago. Did I read right that the MCU upgrade to MCU2 includes the instrument cluster also?(I only uploaded one photo but three are showing up, mine is one near tire pressures)

Thanks. No I bought used in 2018 and have had the usual issues. I knew repairs wouldn't be cheap but figured there's not that much that can break! Still love the car and how it looks though!

I've got the Tesla inflator and a plug kit but curious if it would inflate the tire from flat with the weight of the car pushing down on it. I'm guessing not once the bead seal is broken

Don't hate me! They came and that price was to reboot and see what they could do without replacing door! They will come back and install door cuz reboot didn't fix it. Waiting for the estimate and the part to come in (back-ordered). Didn't get charged for this visit...yet.

The lower 'n' wider the better. It just makes it more beautiful than it already is. I'm already groaning climbing out of it so another inch won't matter!

My simple yet improper thought if they finally go out is to mount replacement horns inside where the backs of the current horns are located. Not correct, and a not as loud, but a whole lot easier!

Also, looks like mounting hardware is in frunk so both may need to come out after all

I have Smartesla opener. Mine had same issue until I adjusted the force setting. They also recommended putting original spring back in when it wouldn't open properly. Check that you are attached to solid ground also.

Had frunk opened up to check power opener and saw the horns right there so not thinking about bumper removal yet

I can see the back of horns when I remove frunk liner. They look flush with a flat bracket holing them in. I'm curious if they are larger on other side behind bumper which won't allow me to pull them through that opening. Anyone play with this yet? Low tone is intermittently out. Cold...

I just put Smartesla kit in my Model S. Pretty much plug-n-play. Had a couple glitches and he helped me through text on a Saturday. Very good customer service!

I just changed pump in my 2015 70D. After watching YouTube videos I got out the jack and everything, then started poking around before lifting it. I turned the wheel full left and removed bottom two pins and pulled liner back. Pump is right there. Lost prime or something cuz it took a while...

I am mechanical, but also curious. I watched several youtube videos of repair and they all removed the wheel and fender liner. I turned my wheel full left, removed the two bottom pins of liner, pulled it back and accessed the pump right there. Wheel removal wasn't needed, at least on my 2015 70D.

Ouch! Just tried Carvana site! They deducted $7k off of $32k KBB price for "local market" for my '15 70D.

Shame on him for not using valet mode. Shame on him for not beating valet to a pulp.

Just noticed spot on floor. Removed frunk and I see moisture under this pump. Located near front left wheel. 4 hoses going in and out of it. In my fantasy world, it's just a loose hose clamp! Mobile repair?

Original issue resolved. Noise was diagnosed by mobile tech as left side fan preparing to give up the ghost. Had to go to service center due to a/c needing to be evacuated to replace. $495 part, $280 labor. If I didn't love this car so much I'd be upset.

Mine was right side also. $450 parts, $516.25 labor (nearly 3 hours at $175 per)

Thanks for the replies! SC just replaced one A/C condenser(a cool grand out of warranty) so maybe they didn't button it up right. I also have what must be the dreading "grind" sound from rear end on accel and decel. Guess I'll make an appt.

Looks like in addition to battery swap, cables were changed as well as grounding points altered. I'd lean toward the car stereo guy screwing something up before the Tesla tech.
