Actually not sure. I didn’t know at the time it got installed there was a sotto3 version that came with foam inside, so I never thought to ask. I wonder if there a special marking on the outside of the tire that indicates the sound deadening version?

oh snap, battery replacement at 470k?! I have a 2012 Camry Hybrid with about 130k, no problems yet with the battery, but I’ve been wondering how much longer I’d get out of the car before I start seeing battery issues. Glad to know I have another 340k to go! ;)

Thanks for the update. I was expecting as much, as the Tesla Shop also charges your credit card as soon as you make a purchase, rather than when the product actually ships. Here’s hoping the credit back to your account posts equally as quick as it was charged.

Please let us know how the refund process goes, and whether you see a charge and then a credit back, or as you suggested, they hold on processing the transaction until after 48 hours. if it’s noticeably faster as you have indicated, I’m guessing you’ll re-purchase within a week ;)

Is the vibration present when your foot on the brake? Or when the brakes are on Hold? My AWD (non-performance) does not do this (in either situation), I would not consider the vibration you are describing as normal.

I keep mine plugged in all the time (same as you, 14-50 outlet). Light stay green, but is not warm to the touch unless actively charging. That said, I’m in WA and my garage is around 50 F. Might be slightly warmer to the touch if I lived in say FL ;)

Agreed, and I don’t like how they charged my card right after I ordered rather than when the parts actually shipped. Also, check the torque on the lug nuts, mine was good on 3 of the 4 wheels, I had to torque down quite a bit more on the last one.

Nope, tried that, even got the initiative passed this Nov. But then someone in the government didn’t like that they weren’t going to get the same level of taxes from car owners starting Dec 5th and had a judge block the initiative from taking into effect. Gotta love government corruption.

Took about 4 weeks from when I ordered till they were installed.

I had the Tesla 18in winter tire package installed about a month ago, it came with the sottozero 3s :)
