$7500 tax rebate - what proof do I need?

I was using TurboTax. It prompts you with a question whether on not you've bought an electrical vehicle in 2018. Simply click "yes" and follow the prompts - they are VERY simple and straight-forward. There is no way to go wrong.

    A cautionary autopilot video

I don't use autopilot, period. It has failed me once - could not read the lane lines (I presume), and simply turned itself off at a curve, resulting in my car going into the oncoming traffic. If it wasn't for my quick reflexes, I'd be not as alive as I am right now. :)

When did AP gain your trust?

It does not always need both lines, but in some situations, it does.

When did AP gain your trust?

I am not saying that the lines are the only factor. Maybe if you are going straight and your car can see one line, it would go for a while. But when it's experiencing a combination of a turn and an absent line, it would turn off with no advance warning. It's just a theory. Regardless, it did...

When did AP gain your trust?

Are you saying that your P3D+ AP is different from my P3D+ AP?

When did AP gain your trust?

It hasn't. For autopilot to work, it needs to "see" both lines. Once, I was driving down a county road that was curved, and the right line was covered in snow. So at the very curve, AP turned off, and I started drifting into the oncoming traffic. Of course I corrected the steering wheel, but you...

$7500 tax rebate - what proof do I need?

Hello everyone, I took Model 3 delivery in 2018, so I qualify for $7500 rebate. I wonder what kind of proof will I need to submit to IRS? Should I get any forms from Tesla? Or is it just by the VIN number? (If just by the VIN number, then what if someone submits a rebate with my VIN number?)...

Charger starts going during on-peak hours, well before scheduled time

For the tag price, I want my Tesla car to be my timer. I am pretty sure most of the owners who are on a TOU plan would agree.

Charger starts going during on-peak hours, well before scheduled time

It IS using shore power during the hightest rate, which is more than 10x the off-peak rate for me. That is exactly the problem - paying more for on-peak than for off-peak totally defeats the purpose of having a TOU plan. I should be able to choose whether or not I want to use shore power for...

Charger starts going during on-peak hours, well before scheduled time

But why whould it pre-heat right after I just returned home and plugged in the charger? The car is still warm, there is no need to pre-heat. This is very intrusive and seems like a bug to me.

Charger starts going during on-peak hours, well before scheduled time

I am signed up for off-peak program with my electirc company. Issue #1: Charging is scheduled for 11:30 PM, yet after I come home from work and plug in the charger (Tesla Wall Connector), it would start running for no apparent reason - you can tell by the green light moving down on the charger...
