Trafford Centre has been ruined by non Tedlas using it. I was in a queue right along the straight and half way down the approach. Gave up and drove to Stockport, as I was short on time. I have suffered at the hands of a two bays blocked user too. Clueless people.

Tesla now have a 1TB solid state drive suitable for ALL models. I have MCU1 8gb which Tesla deems healthy. It says it I.proves gaming g speeds etc. All I want is better use of screen, Internet, which is non existent. Is this likely to help?

I am sure I read that you can turn down the amps when supercharging. Is that true and would it then extend the charge time? If it doesn't and you can reduce the amps what is the purpose?

I understand the argument, however, my screen was showing plenty of availability along my journey, which is normal there.

That's why I found it strange that a Tesla was plugged in and 100 yards away, a dozen chargers with half available.

Thanks. I was at Hilton Park North, ladt week and although half the Tesla chargers were empty, there was a Tesla charging in the other chargers. Are they likely to be cheaper than Tesla to use?

I asked as Gridserve appears on my 'nearby superchargers' sometimes. Why are Tesla bothered about Gridserve?

You put it on charge, log in at reception, use the facilities, walk back to car and clear off!

National Tyres did my MOT last year and afterwards said it took them twice as long, as their equipment was wrong size...find someone else next year!

You can adjust your charge rate to meet your known timescale.

Bought my S85D in December 2018. It is a 2016 model. 257 fully charged, when I took ownership. Currently, 251. All good.

Just plug in with the 3 pin plug and leave it. Look for free chargers, like Tesco. I have used my home charger less than a handful of times!

I used the crossover (at Charnock Richard) 2 weeks ago and was not penalised....to date. The ground barrier was flat for a change. It was today too and all sorts of vehicles using it.

Good thread and original poster sums up well. I always take pictures of non charging or alien vehicles and feed the detail to the controllers of the car park etc. There is always hope they get 'informed' one way or the other. Pure ignorance.

I agree. Decent road in when travelling from the North. M6 was busy. The dual carriageway was not. Busy in Trentham though!

Camped in my S and it took about 20+ miles off the available each night. Allow more if working hard, I would suggest.

Not sure if coincidence, however, having had software 2020.48.12.1 the other day, first charge started with 21kw. Had 50 miles at start point. It stayed like that for some time, before slowly increasing. Eventually reached 46kw before decreasing again, as batteries filled. Undercharge, not...

Yes Amesbury live and plenty of space. Sutton Scotney has been a hot spot and constantly on use. That could change now.

Ha! Had to go to Bristol last night, so had a surcharge burst at Gordano. Stopped at Amesbury, near home and had another 40 mins, so I can get about, OK. Adaptor paying me back. Merry Christmas and many fruitful Tesla experiences next year.

That is exactly my reasoning too, Henry. Especially as I now have one 8.7 miles from home! Happy supercharging.
