How prevalent is the whole glass cracking thing anyways? I'm thinking that tens if not hundreds of thousands of model 3 owners have gotten their sunroof tinted with no issues.

So is there actually any noticeable difference? I'm hesitant to try anything since it seems like it's just redirecting the noise to another area and not actually fixing the root cause (which I'm assuming we still haven't properly identified).

And I typically don't delete footage on my own, even before I was using roadie. I'd just let the old clips get overridden. Maybe that's why I haven't noticed the delete bug.

How are you determining gaps in recording? This is also something I haven't really paid attention to but am a little concerned about now that you're bringing it up. As far as dashcam recording that's a easy one to verify but are you not seeing clips related to sentry notifications?

TBH, it may be something that I overlooked or didn't realize. Maybe it just hasn't happened yet but I'll look into it a little bit more when I get home.

What OS are you using? On Android so far I haven't run into any issues...yet. I've had it for roughly same amount of time you did. Hoping I don't run into any of the issues that you're having.

If you've done any chrome delete yourself or are a professional installer, how much Vinyl does the model 3 need for a complete chrome delete? I've seen (2ftx32ft) X2 but that seems a bit much? The longest section is the long chrome piece on the upper window where it's 1 piece. That's about 10...

So basically the best way is to tap into the overhead map lights? From what I've gathered from many installers (including where I will be getting it done at), they all tap into the battery directly. I guess this is bad then and I should tell them to wire it into the map lights instead?
