Yes, they should fit a 2017 Model S. Several others have put the newer 21 inch Arachnid wheels on there 2012-2020 body model S's. I might be able to deliver them to Dallas as well. I have family there.

If you pass, I'd suggest that you suggest to her to get an offer from CarMax, Vroom, Carvana, etc. As someone already stated, Tesla trade-in values are typically low and she will likely get a better offer from these guys ^!

I will add one caveat, there were 2 colors to choose from that seemed to go with our interior color. The ebony and black. I read here the ebony was more of a charcoal color was a shade light and didn't match exactly. I went black, and it's a shade darker, and doesn't match 100%. Not terrible...

Mine came with OEM carpet mats and they did the same, bunched up at towards the feet. I hated them. Bought some all weather mats because they seemed to be common here, so thought I'd give them a try. I didn't like the feel at all, and personally felt like they should be in a off-road...

To follow up, I finally got around to buying new tires. Ended up switching to Arachnid wheels, now back to Turbines which needed tires, so bit the bullet. I LOVE the look of 275/30/21's vs the 265/35/21's. The change aesthetically is very subtle, but I like subtle.

The new LR is definitely a monster....but speaking of top end/passing power....I'd be curious what the 60-130mpg times are. My 90 falls a bit flat after 60-70ish.... P100DL vs new LR

With black wheels, you lose the details. It's hard to see the design on the wheels. Grey is a good compromise. I have grey Turbines that came on my Midnight Silver Model S, but added bright silver Arachnid wheels. Still have my turbines so I can jump back and forth.

I second this, if it's a heat issue, ceramic tint. I looked into this as I was concerned about heat coming in....but I've not had any issues.

Excellent point. FSD has been reportedly taken away once the car is sold through a dealership. And typically selling privately gets you the seller, the most money. Carvana, Vroom, etc....bank on convenience and easy of transaction. Which is also a good thing....

I've had good luck selling my car, my dad's, and a friend that passed away....2 of his cars- using CarGurus.com. It's only costs like $5-6 bucks if I recall correctly.

Not sure if rims/wheels specifically are the root of the problem, but maybe the tires that are available for our size wheels (21's), which are performance oriented, softer compound to grip better, but sacrifices longevity. Might want to step down to the factory 19's and buy some less...

This is a good point, I was looking at the overall change from 265 to 275's being 2.8%, which made me feel a little nervous. If I had none staggered wheels, and 245/35/21's on the rear....changing to 275/30/21's will result in a 1.1% change. That makes me feel more comfortable.

No axe to grind really, just stating I don't mind the riding being slightly firmer due to the shorter rear sidewalls. So looking at the possibility of switching over to 275's. Doubt the ever so slightly wider rear tires will have any notifiable effect. Sidewall might be noticeable to me...
