This is what they did to fix mine, but it stopped working shortly after I left the SC. I’ve tried all the solutions listed here — reformatting, two scroll wheel reset, leaving sentry mode even at home, etc. and nothing has worked. I have another appointment scheduled for the 18th. :/

It’s uncool of them but to be fair, I get almost everything I need from EAP at this point. Still not a huge fan of the city street driving on FSD, though that could change in the future.

Crazy that now there are two in my neighborhood. And from what I hear, they’re fairly common in LA. Feels surreal to me.

You’re looking at a nearly decade-old battery. Any reason you wouldn’t prefer a used Model 3 for just a bit more?

I agree. I’ve had six Teslas and have hardly ever supercharged. Even on most roadtrips I usually charge two to three times and spend maybe $20-30 each time. 99% of my charges take place at home so FUSC is vastly overrated IMO.

They bought my Model 3 back with four unsuccessful attempts to fix my screen. It was a dog to get it done, but they did me right when it was all said and done.

I have and love EAP, but mostly because it came with the car when I bought mine used. That said, NOA doesn’t work that well for me, summon is a gimmick (when it works for my 2020), and autopark almost never works. Definitely not worth $6k, so go for the range (and speed) increase in a long range.

Can’t wait. But I do wonder how good these will look in 2026 when (if?) it goes to production.

Nice breakdown. I love my Model Y but certainly looked at the Audi as well. The thing that kept me from seriously considering it is the charging network (at the time). That trumps most potential advantages IMO. When Audi moves to NACS, that may be moot but it wasn’t at the time.

Mine never really worked very well. It was very glitchy and I just let the trial run out without continuing it.

There’s gotta be a ceramic coating you can get for it. I use one from Amazon, but that wears off in a couple of weeks. I’m guessing there’s a more permanent solution out there.

Yeah, FSD can be pretty brutal. It’s amazing technology, but probably not ready to be used in beta by so many people. I’ve had it on two separate cars (both times it was already on a car I bought) and got beta with both. Again, it’s amazing what it can do in general, but it can be terrifying...

Looks great. I got 20% on my fronts to match the rear stain and I love it. I previously did 5% all the way around on my old 3 and hated it as it was too dark, but 20% is great to me.

Hard when they don’t really educate renters on using an EV, how to charge, etc. I’ve read too many horror stories.

Yeah, that front camera is going to be extremely important all around, especially with a vision-only system. :/

I think that was the driver. He was just sort of orbiting the truck, trying to look intimidating. And yeah, I got there just as it pulled up. The crowd followed later, LOL!

That was my initial impression. I’ve watched virtually every video and have seen one drive by in the distance in Lake Tahoe, but up close, it was much smaller than I imagined. Shorter than I envisioned and not as long.

Saw a Cybertruck charging at Firebaugh yesterday. First time seeing one up close in person. Pretty amazing and it really draws a crowd. Can’t wait to get one!

I got this and reserved mine more than a year after the reveal. Makes me think all reservation holders got it, “early” or not.

Just got my retrofit completed on my 2020 Model Y. Cost $313 to have it done and the tech came and Mobile Service completed it in about 20 minutes. Super quick and simple.

Just ordered mine for 12/6. Great deal IMO — $330 for the filters, retrofit and mobile service.
