Passenger side wiper washer hose retention clip - where to find?

I mean... I am posting in the Model 3 sub-forums... Yeah - I ended up going that route; hopefully this isn't gonna be some stupid "buy the whole wiper arm" type of a thing.

Passenger side wiper washer hose retention clip - where to find?

Hi all, Noticed yesterday that the passenger side windshield wiper washer hose was flapping around. At first I thought that the two retention clips somehow detached but upon closer inspection, it looks like both broke! I am not sure how that could have happened (or when) but coincidentally, I...

I swear if it won't be true P3D numbers, it'd be like that bottle of wine you uncork and that 1/4 of the cork ends up falling inside :|

I had my PPF done at AutoProFilms in Belmont; stellar work. He's the only guy I know that does custom cuts and not computer-designed cuts. His wraps are on point.

Premium Connectivity cost $9.99/month for many Model 3 versions

Look like I still have it free until May of 2020 (took delivery in May of this year) - for those wondering, it will say so on the deets section of your car on Tesla.com

Collision Avoidance overrode brake press and causing car to veer and hit the curb

It wasn't wet, but the intersection where it happened has a downward slope so it could have contributed to the effect of not slowing down faster than it should. But your explanation seems to be consistent with the reported experience. In any event - only damage is to the wheels; no other...

Collision Avoidance overrode brake press and causing car to veer and hit the curb

Thanks. As I said before - I don't discount pedal error. But consider the following: if you're maintaining speed by pressing the "gas" pedal and an emergency occurs, are we saying that the "gas" pedal was pushed even further rather than instinctively push the brakes?

Collision Avoidance overrode brake press and causing car to veer and hit the curb

I can understand your skepticism - but I assure you that it is not my car. Damage to the car in question: And my car: Regarding the video - I'll ask permission to post it and will gladly do so.

Collision Avoidance overrode brake press and causing car to veer and hit the curb

I don't disagree that this is a possibility in this kind of a scenario, and considering I was not there I can't really say one way or another - but for the sake of the argument, lets go with the notion that there was no pedal confusion.

Collision Avoidance overrode brake press and causing car to veer and hit the curb

There was some discussion amongst some of my peers on whether there is some kind of a "brake-by-wire" technology in the cars - is there something like this in the Model 3? Or is the pedal connected directly to the master brake cylinder through an electric booster?

Collision Avoidance overrode brake press and causing car to veer and hit the curb

Hi all, This happened to a buddy of mine - details in bullet points: Stopped at a light, on a three lanes + left turning lane road. Car is in the middle lane. Right lane merges into the middle lane after the intersection (thus becoming a 2 lane road). Light turns green, start accelerating...

Don't want heater on, want vent

On top of all of this - I want to be retain auto fan mode with AC off... Loved having that in my Audi - I don't need AC in the winter but i want to fan to auto regulate depending on the temperature (which can be pretty mild in the Bay during the winter months).

Juicebox Pro Charging Problems w V10

Have a JB Pro 40 on a 50 amp dedicated circuit with my M3 on V10 (36.2.1) and do not have any breaker tripping issue. As @davewill mentioned - is your breaker a GFCI one? If so - it should not be. The JB has built in GFCI circuitry (albeit overly sensitive - but thats a discussion for another...

Latest Update and Long Range AWD Distance

I get 300 at 100% on my LR AWD despite Tesla confirming max range is 322. I think that, under ideal circumstances and perfect weather, 322 is doable... but I don't think we'd see it until Spring/Summer time.

Fair enough - I'll give it a shot!

Max range reduction - side effect of weather or a real issue?

Hrm - so @KenC above recommended to charge to a lesser state and @Az_Rael recommends to do 90% or even up to 100%... What is the truuuuuuuuuuth?!?!?! :p
  19. M

Max range reduction - side effect of weather or a real issue?

I do charge at home but only when I almost empty - so basically with about 15% (45 miles) of range left. At that point, I charge to 81%.
  20. M

Max range reduction - side effect of weather or a real issue?

Normally, I charge to 81% which gave me about 250 miles (244 now). I commute 27 miles one way and charge at work at 5 mph (120v) for anywhere from 6-8 hours. The commute back home the same 27 miles. My commute to work averages anywhere from 200-240 w/h and home its anywhere from 280-330...

Max range reduction - side effect of weather or a real issue?

Hi all, Starting with software version 2019.32.2.1, I have started seeing a steady decline of maximum battery capacity. I started at 310 miles and currently am at 299 - which is about a 3.5% reduction with only 7800 miles on the car. I originally thought that it may have been related to...

Bumper dent repaired... now no ultrasonic (proximity) sensors :(

So interesting development - without me doing anything, overnight half the sensor started working. Looks like the rear and front driver sides are online but passenger and center may are not working still. Also no proximity chimes. Temp sensor still offline; remote AC worked ones and so did...

Bumper dent repaired... now no ultrasonic (proximity) sensors :(

It was not. I figured since the bumper did not require replacement, I could easily go to any shop - here in the bay, everyone works on everything but if they know things require replacement, they turn you away haha

Bumper dent repaired... now no ultrasonic (proximity) sensors :(

I got a dent on my front bumper which I got repaired. When I got the car, I noticed the AC was blowing on my feet instead on me and that my external temperature was not working. Figured it had something to do with the Tesla being a Tesla and that it'd fix itself. It did not. Not even after...

Anyone do PDR on front bumper mask?

Le sigh. I guess I will let it be then. It will cost more than it is worth; $100 deductible plus $650 to re-apply the PPF :(

Anyone do PDR on front bumper mask?

I got a dent on my front bumper mask, a bit below and to the left of the T emblem (see pic) - not sure what its from, but doesnt look like a car hit since there are no scratches or paint transfer (maybe something fell on it). Has anyone had something similar and if so, how did you fix it? PDR...

Seeking recommendations for a narrow booster seat

I just realized that I didn't touch on the main issue with my original booster seat - accessibility to the latch! Juicebox vs included charger

I have a JuiceBox Pro 40 and absolutely love it. I prefer to have the ability to monitor my charging, get stats but more importantly - since I park outside and have my charging handle hang outside, I can let my homies charge as well if needed.

Seeking recommendations for a narrow booster seat

So I ended up getting the Cosco booster (ended up doing so before seeing the replies haha) - my only concern is that it may be a bit too firm... but then again, the Graco has barely any cushioning anyway :\ I did consider the MiFold - but this review caused me to skip it:

Seeking recommendations for a narrow booster seat

    2019.20.4.2

I kinda doubt it's minor. A minor fix will be rolled into a new update - makes no sense to spend cycles developing and testing for something minor. My guess is that it's something to do with either beach buggy game or the new app dock.
