The issue I had is that your 'display' name when you signed up is not your username. It's pretty confusing. Just use your email address and it should work if that's the issue. I tried a bunch of times until I figured this out.

Mine is definitely still there. Maybe you accidentally turned off the notification off for the app? Would go to Android settings, then the app settings and see if notifications were accidentally changed to off.
